Until we get another meta post about which condiments/fries post is our favourite

[-] neidu2@feddit.nl 19 points 4 months ago

Two sticky threads are needed:

  • fries and their condiments
  • how to flush toilets

Now people joining lemmy will start wondering wtf kind of place this is.

It is missing the "how to not shit for 3 days?"

[-] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

What was, like, the backstory on that?

Yeah, you just hold your poop in

[-] illi@lemm.ee 4 points 4 months ago

People assumed some sexual weekend or something, don't remember. OP neither confirmed nor denied

In Reddit, many subs sprouted out of successful AskReddit questions. Just saying. For people who want more traffic in Lemmy, everyone should feel welcome to suggest their interests, zero fucks given. Or what exactly, ban questions about ...fries?

[-] Zahille7@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

I've witnessed quite a few subs being birthed from an AskReddit comment chain. It's kinda beautiful to see, NGL.

Air frier fries, how do you like them? The ones I've been having are the longe prism sort, no oil. Taste nice enough, not soggy but not crispy enough. But being less unhealthy is what pays off that for me.

Cut real potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes. Put some olive oil on them, then add a healthy serving of salt, rosemary, and paprika. Mix it all up, to make sure all the potatoes are coated. Cook on the fries setting until outside is crispy.

For sauce, mix greek yoghurt with your favorite hot sauce, and a bit of olive oil and apple cider vinegar. For a sweeter sauce, add a bit of honey too.

I've heard the cube with paprika tip yesterday over a conversation with my friend group but the sauce tip is new, should try it

I didn't realize we're supposed to make poutine out of fries and condiments here. Does fries and red chili peanut sauce and soft tofu count?

In all seriousness though, I saw some post about ketchup and another about condiment concoctions and pretty much likely missed (or didn't notice) the others.
