I had someone try that with me and strung them along to see just what their deal was.

They promised that their crypto had limited windows of availability where it would suddenly jump up 3x or 5x in value.

So I looked it up on an independent site... steady price 1:1 with the US dollar. No spikes. So if I had invested, say, $1,000 the best I could get out of it was $1,000.

But that's not how the scam works, they want you to invest through their portal which is a one way switch... money goes in, it never comes out.

Some ppl get in contact with new ppl all the time for their job, Hobby etc.

I would say, as long as ppl u don't know don't give you a good reason, mistrust them as if they were scammers.

Thankfully I'm used to discord scams, that's why it's a bit easier for me to recognize patterns in people messaging me.
