“People are realizing she’s a dumb person. And we can’t have another dumb president,” he railed.
He's half right.

Every accusation is an admission.
"Tonight's top story: While people are dying, we decided to share an attention seeker's ramblings. Ho hum, thoughts and prayers"
Trump shouts something. News at 24/7
He later refuted the idea that his rhetoric was a problem, even as polls show Trump is viewed less favorably by women than by men.
He's right, it isn't a problem. Why? Because Trump is not relying on votes to win since he has every intention of massively cheating instead.
WAPO "Such pugnacity has come to define much of the tone and image of Trump’s 2024 campaign, reflecting the personalities of many of the men leading it as well as the candidate. Trump has long valued being viewed as an alpha male who never apologizes or shows weakness.”
“In many ways, that campaign culture mirrors some of its strategies. Trump and his advisers are calculating that, at a time when polls show voters dissatisfied with the direction of the country, and with turmoil abroad revealing the limitations of America’s global influence, they can win the White House by projecting a particular kind of strength — with a distinctly aggressive vibe not seen in presidential campaigns before.”
“That posture also fits with the campaign’s focus on appealing to young men, who advisers view as a key untapped voting bloc that could help tip the electoral college in Trump’s favor in a closely divided electorate.”
Jesus Christ, if that's real, the WaPo editorial board needs a slap upside the head.
Stop. Rationalizing. Trump.
Being a douche bag candidate and a douche bag campaign is definitely part of their strategy.
No one said it was a winning strategy
Showin his ass and punching down like always. Asshole.
I know things look rough right now, but TFG is really old and a lot of us will live long enough to piss on his grave, if we eat right and exercise.
Even in death, nobody makes more popular public restrooms than me, trust me folks.
I feel like the US could use some legislation requiring nonessential spaces such as, say, recreational facilities within the same state as a natural disaster, but outside the zone of danger, to provide shelter to those fleeing the risk area until the crisis is over. Those with the capacity to bury dead bodies onsite to be at the top of the list.
They basically do - in addition to people who live in range of the immediate storm surge, those who live in mobile homes and other less safe buildings are told to evacuate, and evacuate can mean "go to your local storm shelter" which is often a well built community center or high school gym or whatever. They've got cots they set out. Some shelters are pet friendly, some are aimed at people with medical issues who are in trouble if a building loses power. Electrical workers and first responders are the sorts who stay to help with storm response as soon as it's safe. (Downed power lines are extremely dangerous, and making sure they don't kill anyone is part of ASAP storm response.)
Oh yes of course you are correct. I was referring to privately owned recreational facilities such as, say, golf/country clubs, especially those where the main resident saves on taxes by burying his ex-wife on the property and calling it a cemetery...
I'm sure he'd welcome a crowd of storm-tossed refugees, wouldn't he? It's Florida, they mostly voted for him so he owes them, right?
