Path of Exile, 3.22 league
This world is an illusion, exile.
exile has tested you (too lol) my brother
Finally finished my first playthrougb of disco Elysium. Absolute masterpiece. Can't wait to do a full schizo second run.
Not about videogames, but my master announced that our DnD campaign will be put on hiatus after the current arc is finished, as he doesn't have time anymore to prep.
I'm considering mastering a short campaign, but it's really difficult. I don't like half-assing things and I end up spending too much time on prep, and eventually stop having fun.
It's also a very heterogeneous group this time around, compared to the last time I mastered a campaign, which makes things a bit more difficult.
You gotta put "game" or "dungeon" in front of the word "master" for this my dude.
I'm still playing BG3: I've just recently started Act 3, and I am still loving the game, though I'm finding it harder to stay focused at this point. I'm also starting to think about how to play a more evil character in my next playthrough without being a total asshole, but we'll see how that comes along.
Every time I try to role play as an evil protagonist I start feeling bad for NPCs or get fomo about rewards I'll be missing. Not sure if I've gone full evil since Fable 1.
I'm enjoying Baldur's Gate 3. I tried rolling a Sorcerer.
I’m currently addicted to BG3! I spent basically my entire weekend playing, and I think I’m close to the end of act 1. I’m playing a Druid.
I started helping a friend with his first playthrough of Elden Ring and I've been completely sucked back in. I've got a couple new characters going now
Gave Fallout New Vegas another Go, started it 10 years ago but never finished it for some reasons, life happened blah blah... I am very excited to take a few hours out of every week for it!
WarFrame (it causes me great pain)
Ah a Harrow player
Gotta be honest not sure what that means.
I'm still fairly new to the game.
Just a joke about a frame :) played the game far too much so i get the pain part totally
I'm back to For Honor and Factorio, two games I gave a go when they came out and haven't played since, and loving then
I've wasted so much time in Factorio...
I just started with oil (for the first time getting that far and made my first train too!) and I can't help but want to start over again from scratch to make everything cleaner....
The factory must grow, yes but THERE MUST BE ORDER
I also made a circuit system which was actually surprisingly simple. I only did it to make it so that it would leave some oil behind in a tank instead of pushing it all into the train, but it was pretty cool
You can always just start a new base next to your old base and divert resources to the new one. Eventually you can just delete the old base.
My partner and I are chest-deep into BG3. We had a third teammate, but he got too busy with life…and wasn’t really a team player to begin with. But we’re absolutely loving the game and have happily become unproductive members of society since we started playing a few weeks ago.
Decided to get back into vanilla Factorio, i definitely like it more
I'm waiting for the DLC. Kinda scared, though. When I last played I was jobless, depressed, living at home and would play for ~10 hours a day.
I want a mod that makes it a little easier to get to the logistics robots faster, but without a complete overhaul, the extensive mods are too much for me..m
The upcoming DLC has improvements for bots. Can't remember the details but one of the FFF explains it. Might solve some of your problems.
Depending on which of my friends are around:
World War Z
Payday 3
DarkTide
Or with my kids:
Minecraft
Monster Hunter World/Rise
Terraria
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare
Gonna try out the Enshrouded Steam Next demo this week.
I'm on my second attempt at playing Dark Souls 1 on PC. I know it's a meme but holy moly does this game not give a fuck about you. Lately I've been trying to play games on harder difficulties and avoid guides in order to be forced to utilize every mechanic, but Dark Souls is breaking me.
The lack of direction the player is given and unforgiving gameplay is too much for me though. I've resorted to looking up tips on combat, builds, and items, and how to progress now and again.
Overall though it's a lot of fun. The enemies are so well designed and every time I see a miniboss waiting for me in the distance my butt clenches, which is a very fun experience that not many games are able to deliver.
I still think there are aspects of the game that are needlessly frustrating. Some enemies seem like a cruel joke, mainly the freaking ghosts that move and attack through walls. Also I wish there was more direction, NPCs I could talk to or something that would give me ideas on where I should be going. Wandering around and dying repeatedly is only fun for so long imo.
I'm glad a game like this exists for people who are not whiny wusses like me though.
It took me three attempts for me to finally enjoy it, and get through the whole game, I feel you. The game's high barrier to entry is its biggest flaw.I'm glad you're enjoying it
I don't know how far you've gotten, but unless you're reasonably far through the game, you should not go to see those ghosts. Try going back to the start, and then upwards.
Forza for exactly 30 minutes. And I won't continue.
Cyberpunk 2077, really love the story and character interactions. Still buggy as hell though lol.
Currently going around between Assassin‘s Creed Unity, NFS Heat, and Tales of Arise.
ACU sometimes feels like I‘m not in control (and stealth as such random) and the parkour controls do a lot of stuff I don‘t want it to, but the story‘s nice and Paris is beautiful to jump around in.
NFS Heat is also beautiful especially in HDR, the driving feels good enough. Biggest downside to me is the cop AI, if there‘s no ramp to jump off of, they keep rubberbanding back onto me and it‘s annoying. The map can also feel very empty.
Lastly, Tales of Arise. I love the characters and the story, but I‘ll never warm up to Tales‘ combat. It‘s the best iteration yet, just doesn‘t click with me. Says a lot about the characters and the story that I‘m going through regardless. Another nitpick is that cities could really use more dynamic. Lots of wax figures. Aside from that, it looks great (after a few ini tweaks) and runs great!
Switch: Sudoku Relax (2-7), Kingdoms of Amalur, Minecraft, The Survivalists
PC: Fallout 4, Oxygen Not Included, Factorio
I bought the Bioshock remastered trilogy and I just finished Bioshock 1 and 2 recently. Both great games, but I’m partial to 1. I wanted to take a break from the trilogy, so I started the ghostbusters game that is voiced by the original cast. It has been fun and it’s great hearing the classic songs and voices and seeing the 80s tech, but dang it, I started Infinite today and I think I’ll be pulled right back in to the Bioshock universe.
Just a fantastic trilogy with each containing such memorable stories.
Finally beat Sea of Stars, and have gone back to play Megaman Battle Network Collection, starting with #1. Definitely not the best entry in the series, but it's got good bones. Looking forward to getting to #2.
Star Ocean The Divine Force. It was ok, pacing was all over the place.
I'm playing a co-op bg3 campaign but I'm otherwise burnt out on it (onlymissing 2 achievements) so I'm thinking about picking up Wargroove 2. Anybody playing that? I think I would like it but it's hard to tell from the trailers.
I love tactics games and have been looking for a new one like Advanced Wars, Frostpunk...hell even bg3 combat. I started Divinity 2 but it feels bad to play immediately after bg3 so I'm gonna give it a few months
Started playing The Lamplighters League after seeing that it's on game pass. Also still playing Sea of Stars, where I just defeated the Dweller, and now feel betrayed 😭
Got back into Destiny 2. In a week I did the season quest and got to level 76 so far. Eris is good when she's vindictive.
Also playing some Eastward. Sam is cute.
A couple days of Stardew Valley every couple days IRL Also picked up a really fun chill-ish game called Unrailed.
Playing on my Project Zomboid server, water and power just cut out but my dude is not handy enough to operate generators, so I'll have to scramble and go find my that "how to use generators" manual with the fuel I have left, just to get the fridge back up and running. And muldraugh itself is becoming pretty barren, so it's gonna be the next town over 😅
I gave 0 A.D. a try. Libre 3D AoE "clone" that looks better than AoE4. Feels really good though tbf I never really got into AoE
Working on Warframe and Silent Hill 2. Been procrastinating on SH2 for a while.
Darktide, new update is fantastic and really changed how the game feels. Haven’t been this excited about it since before the release
Hmm, cool thanks for sharing, I'll check it out!
Mainly beamng and a bit of rdr2 Been enjoying the flying wigeon mod its hella fun m8
Cyberpunk, obviously. Should be done just about in time for Spidey 2
