Ah yes hiding in Argentina. Now where have I heard that before…

It would be comical if it weren't all so horrific, wouldn't it?

"The foundation has submitted similar complaints in other countries, including one against Israel's military attache in Brussels and another involving a soldier travelling in Sri Lanka.

Fears in Israel have been growing that decisions by the ICC could lead to arrests and investigations into war crimes.

Last month, the Israeli military advised dozens of soldiers against travelling abroad after reportedly tracking around 30 war crimes complaints and legal actions targeting its personnel for their roles in operations in Gaza."

Good, these criminals should be on their toes. And the minute they put their foot abroad they should be arrested and bring to justice.

Lame that they let him get away, but I do like the strategy of making sure war criminals are essentially going to be forced to stay in Israel or strongly allied countries.

Zionist media reports that he fled to Argentinia with an unspecified assistance.

https://www.israelhayom.com/2025/01/05/idf-soldier-who-survived-oct-7-escapes-brazil-after-court-issues-arrest/

They enjoyed parties and peaceful life for two weeks until yesterday when a call came from the consul, saying there was an arrest warrant against the soldier and that he had to fly out of there quickly. The friends unanimously decided not to leave him alone. That night they received assistance and crossed the border into Argentina."

Abutbul added that the last conversation with his son was at five in the morning. "They said they were in Argentina and everything was fine. When I spoke to my son, I suggested he continue the trip in Argentina and not come home. Coming home is a prize for the Palestinians, and they would also ruin their trip. I'm not worried now. At first, I was worried and told them to cross the border. When I understood that they were helped to cross the border, I calmed down."

Note how him partying and taking trips abroad is seen as more important, than the lifes and livelihoods of humans they annihilated.

The entitlement and total dehumanization should be a warning to everyone that still allies with Israel. These soldiers and their supporters are ticking timebombs.

Also it is quite ironic, that they are fleeing to Argentina, where many German Nazi War Crimimals fled after WW2.

Jesus, the way they paint him and his mates as heroes for fleeing to Argentina like some former Nazi camp commander is really something.

in the future: they'll modify the "argentinian with a german last name" joke to include jewish names.

Now that's ironic.

Not ironic at all. Argentina gave shelter to nazis back then and is giving it again right now.

[-] Treczoks@lemmy.world 26 points 3 days ago

That would not have been an issue if the IDF did not commit war crimes all over the place.

If people are not aware, the current Argentina president seems to cozy up to the Israeli to gain favours from the United State either that or he is comprised by them. Argentina the only country out side of USA and small islands that vote with Israel so it is make sense for them to escape from there.

It does rhyme.
