Geez. The article doesn't mention until paragraph six of seven:

"Separately, The Associated Press reported that an Israeli shell landed among a group of international journalists killing the Reuters journalist and injuring six others."

It's crazy that it's not even news that Israel is launching shells at journalists.

SEO and marketing tracking is to be blamed. They keep what you are looking for at the very bottom.

The more time you spend the more money they earn.

Welcome to Israel. Reminder that Shireen was also an American citizen. Pretty sure nobody's gonna bat an eye about this either.

I was watching Al Jazeera English as they reported this and it was in no way an accident. The journalists from Reuters, Associated Press, etc. were traveling with them in a convoy of vehicles together wearing all the “PRESS” stuff and making their location known. They were in Lebanon nowhere near any militants so this should be investigated.

US politicians fucking love regimes that murder reporters

If you’re also referring to Saudi Arabia, I wouldn’t say the US loves them

[-] starman2112@sh.itjust.works 13 points 1 year ago

The US doesn't love them, they just love selling weapons to them

Several Billions of dollars worth per year.

The US doesn't love them...

Our politicians do tho. When there's only two possible options for each election, the wealthy can just "donate" to both.

And Saudi Arabia is pretty fucking wealthy. What's a couple tens of millions in PAC donations if it guarantees your guy wins? They'd be stupid to just back one and risk losing.

Are they going to deny this one for months too like the last one until and independent investigation can confirm unequivocally that it was an Israeli munition?
