I have multiple accounts for different interests. Then I subscribe to whatever on each account and switch between them depending what I want to see.

That's just it. Nobody has really tried. This is little more than PR unless there's actual enforcement.

The hurricanes have become so frequent that they're hardly even talked about any more. I'm like "guys it's fucking November..".

I would argue that a small group of people taking actual action would indeed inspire others to do the same. It's just that nobody wants to take the risk of being that first person carrying the torch.

Well I can't say nobody, two have tried so far.

However, if widespread murder of the innocent begins taking place, please disregard my peaceful message.

We're a year deep into the slaughter of Gaza.

I would hope so, but americans have proven time and time again that they are spineless.

[-] Sir_Kevin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 2 days ago

Totally agree. Also they let go the grey beards that have all the knowledge in favor of min wage kids with zero experience. This is a management/greed issue as with most companies.

Reading fiction is something I can only do when I'm calm, relaxed and have no worries. That is not a state I have experienced for like thirty years.

Maybe if we raised children in a world that wasn't a complete dumpster fire they would be able to read for hours at a time.

They're still assholes and if you can even find an employee, they don't know what you're talking about.

Am I the only one that noticed it was originally going to be like 2000 NK troops.. then the next day it became 3000, then 8000, then 10000 and now it's 12000.

I'm just going to assume these numbers are all a lie.

Every fucking day. I hate it so much!

Also, when I had a lawn, I had an electric mower, electric leaf blower, electric edger.. Because I'm not an asshole. I also like having less maintenance. Why is that so fucking hard?

I know the world has much bigger problems to focus on right now but I dream of a time when loud ICE engines are banned at least in residential zones.

I just have to chime in to say that Godzilla Minus One is a masterpiece in terms of story telling and VFX. You don't have to be a fan of Godzilla or anything in particular, this movie is 10/10 in all categories. Blew my fucking mind!

Months after a trove of personal data it had collected was stolen, US data broker National Public Data has filed for bankruptcy. In its filing the company admits that the number of people impacted by the data theft is much higher than previously reported.

Earlier this year personal data belonging to “hundreds of millions” of people was stolen from US data broker National Public Data. The company admitted to the scope of the theft in a bankruptcy filing. Several outlets are reporting on the story.

National Public Data indicated that the stolen data included names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers and social security numbers. National Public Data’s parent company Jerico Pictures admits that there are “hundreds of millions of potentially impacted individuals.” According to the news site TechCrunch, security experts estimate the number of stolen Social Security numbers to be around 270 million.

Of all the information stolen, the Social Security numbers are considered especially sensitive, because they can be used as proof of identity – meaning criminals could potentially use the information to commit identity theft.

Does anybody know if Arizona Sunshine 2 supports cross-play between different platforms? e.g. Can players on Quest/Pico/Steam play together?

It's on sale on Steam and Pico (I assume it's cross platform) but I don't want to waste my money if it's all just children on there.

Landscape mode Broken (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

Anyone else having problems with the UI in landscape? Pressing the hamburger menu crashes the app entirely. Other elements sometimes acts like the Back button. Yet everything works perfectly in portrait.

I thought this was very well done and informative.

These have been in beta testing for awhile. I'm not sure if they're supposed to be for sale yet but I'm seeing a few sellers on AliExpress offering them for around $60.

VRChat just released on Pico about a week ago. I don't know if support for these has been implemented yet.

Please comment if you have any insight!
