Don’t seatbelt your face, obviously
I think that's more like "please do seatbelt your face", because, there's no x on the bottom to say no to that
The sun will not rise tomorrow
No sunrises allowed
I found it on a couple comments curiosity got the better of me I thought I may as well ask
I believe it means banned user
Thats what I thought but I wanna be 100% sure
It should be easy to verify - open the public modlog (https://lemmy.world/modlog) and find a random user that has been banned recently, view their profile / comments and check if the icon shows up. If the icon really means that they are, in fact, banned, then it should show up every time.
....that being said, I've never seen that icon before. Are you using an app or the desktop version? Do you get a mini pop up when you hover the mouse pointer over the icon?
I'm using jeboa on android
Hm... the only related info I can find is that it is called a "no account(s)" icon here: https://fontawesomeicons.com/svg/icons/no_accounts#ex-tab3 ...but no explanation about what exactly it means in the context of jerboa/lemmy/android.
Did you only see them on older comments?
Yeah
Frowning cyclops not allowed
No users allowed
Pac-Man is about to hurl
fuck the sun over the hill
Would Smash
“That’s no moon”
Some people put it as their profile icon so they look banned lol
No humans allowed.
It’s the old Atlanta Hawks logo.
most people here seem to be joking
Good for them they're having a laugh have at it
well that's an obvious «ban user» icon, no?
I would spouse but I want to be 100% sure
That's the meaning of that symbol? Incredible!
you're not funny
My guess is it means you can’t log in or aren’t logged in. It could also be block user or blocked user. It’s just a crossed out person, so it could be a number of things.
