Excellent read! ty.

The Russian Embassy is a seriously creepy place. As are the staff โ€” like the guy who tried to use his car to make me move off the sidewalk. Like the barbed wire. Like the fact that they come out waving MAGA hats and shouting about beating Ukraine. Like the Conservative MAGA trolls who tried to swarm me when I arrived.

The people I spoke to on the line know full well that Putin is pulling the strings in Washington. They know that Ukraine is the forward trench in the fight for democracy.

If Ukraine is breached, Canada will be next.
