Good job! I'm proud of you!

That's how I usually make it, as well!

Thank you! :)

I was already a no show for them two weeks ago. I really didn't want to miss this one lol

It’s either that or getting nothing done the entire day because the appointment is looming in the near but not so near future.

Are those normal reminders? I have to use alarms otherwise it doesn't work.

They are, but I also set reminders on my work computer and my personal laptop. My laptop has my music on it so it sends sounds through my headphones. And my work computer pops a reminder box up

I've also got six reminders a day to check my email every 90 minutes. Otherwise, I'll go several days without checking it.

I really wish you could set reminders like that to start beeping at you and not stop until they are acknowledged, possibly even getting louder the longer they go. One little chirp is not enough to get my attention.

If you have android you can set different ringtones for different calendars, and you can set up multiple reminders for each event.
I then have different calendars for different categories like appointments, bills, birthdays, work events, and then holidays and vacation days.
If you need something more persistent than that AMdroid let's you set up alarms that make sure you are awake even after you dismiss it.

TickTick app can do this.

This is why I literally set alarms for everything

[–] Gerudo@lemm.ee 5 points 2 weeks ago

Just don't hit snooze on the alerts cause that's an immediate forget.

I have five alarms every Monday starting at 2pm to make sure I am ready for a class I teach at 6pm. Usually I'm not ready but I've made it on time the past 3 weeks in a row. It's such a huge achievement.

Congratulations to you.
