What are you - paneuropean? Yikes.

Lots of choice here (they mention the country of origin): https://cookinglife.eu/collections/frying-pan-without-non-stick-coating

At home, we use the French made De Buyer

Another vote for deBuyer, we're very happy with their carbon steel pans and eyeing the stainless steel ones. Made in France.

Fiskars from Finland sells red dot award winning steel pans with a 25 year guarantee. As a Finn I’m biased of course :)

Produces only in UK, China and Korea. https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schulte-Ufer

Nothing against the first two on that list ofc

What is your problem with Korea?

[–] Nooodel@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Oh, sorry - I wanted to say no problem with UK and Korea, trying to avoid China due to human rights violations.

Demeyere is made in Belgium afaik

My #1 is Mauviel, made in France, but they are very costly.

DeBuyer comes in as a very close second, especially considering their price point relative to Mauviel.
