Gonna reply instead of edit. It's so fucking gross Tesla's name is forever tainted now. Literally a man that dedicated himself to scientific progress over profits. He took Maxwell's equations and scientific progress and built on them so well. I wish his name was lost to history instead of being tainted by this stupid fucking car company. RIP Nikola Tesla and the lesser known James Clerk Maxwell for their progress in these fields.

They both contributed to the progress in both Einstein's theories in relativity and the development of quantum mechanics. Both fields of physics we still struggle to combine and understand today.

Standing on the shoulders of giants they both were. And likely some of last that could say so.

Yup he was fucked by Edison whilst he was alive and then his name is tainted by Musk when he died.

Tesla truly was one of those people that was in for the science and the betterment of society and didn’t really care about the money. Sad that the money folk are the ones that prevail and convince us greed is the only way.
