Every day I sink lower. When I think the bottom approaches, the foundation cracks and I am pulled even lower then I thought possible.

Time to drink about it.

  • Visit the house where Martin Luther lived
  • Buy a Perry Rhodan hefte (an SF pulp serial magazine that has been published weekly since 1961) at a newsstand after not reading one for over 40 years
  • Eat my first currywurst since I arrived in Germany three days ago

Same as every day :

  • Make a To Do li... oh squirrels !

I had a pretty low key day today, and things went smoothly and painlessly. Just had to:

1: Get dressed for sexy Sunday

2: Go shopping for a friend's last minute birthday present

3: See said friends, hang out for a bit

4: Go home

5: Make dinner

Step five is all that's left, and prep is done so it should be easy peasy.

I feel bad for you though, that's a brutal work schedule. I remember doing 50-55 hour weeks and not having any time or energy left to really care for myself, doing even more than that is just wild to me. I hope it's at least setting you up for a lovely future!

  • Submit taxes
  • Trim beard
  • Seek healthcare for red spot on skin that won't go away on its own
  • Pack items in pannier for Monday

  1. Make breakfast for kids

  2. Go to work

  3. Not sure what it says, but I just got a text from my wife so there's at least one more thing I gotta do

  4. Ensure kids all have clean uniforms for school tomorrow

It's not even 8 AM here yet. Guess the first item on my to-do list is 'write a to-do list'.

Shop for a dining furniture set that sits 4 people. We just eat at the kitchen bar but since we're having guests for the first time next month, we need a proper dining table.

On the list- Record podcast with some friends, fix a kitchen drawer and adjust some doors, mow my lawn, laundry. So far I've done everything but the mowing. And at this point I have zero intention of doing it. Partly because it's time to eat jelly beans and watch YouTube but mostly because I'd have to finish cleaning the trash out of my yard I started cleaning yesterday. The excuse for not doing that is trash doesn't get picked up till Thursday.

  1. Muck about with Netbird (oops, wait, that wasn't on the list!)
  2. Walk the dog.
  3. Tidy the garden.
  4. Replace the shower curtain.
  5. Clean and lubricate the bean-to-cup coffee machine.
  6. Book holiday flights.
