If only she hadn't participated in the backstabbing of Bernie during the 2020 primaries, we night not be here.
This is what EVERYBODY doesn't understand: The DNC is NEVER going to select Bernie because he is NOT a Democrat. He is, and always has been, an Independant.
The presidential nomination is the highest award a party can give to a member, and they are going to give it to a loyal member who has supported the party, raised money for them, praised their actions, etc. Bernie has done none of that. He may caucus with the Dems, but he doesn't raise money for them, and he has often been very critical of Democrats.
He's NOT a Democrat, and there was never a time when the Democrats would give him the nomination, no matter how many votes he got in the primary. They wouldn't give him the nomination any more that they'd give it to a Republican.
Idk, he came close in 2016, we could probably get AOC if a lot more than 30 Million people participated in the primary.
Yeah seriously. Bernie would have solved everything. AOC 2028!

This is the dangerous part about being someone like trump. Everyone expects him to lie and fuck things up, so when he does, nobody is outraged and there are no consequences.

For the people screaming for the Dems to do something: this is it. This is the extent of their power with the number of votes they have. If anything, we should be urging Republican lawmakers to abandon ship.
How about getting a filing of an impeachment notion going? No doubt it'd fail, but it goes on record and everyone who voted against it gets listed. Keep it going and you see the pattern by the time the midterms come around?

You only need a simple majority to change senate rules, so you need to convince 4 Republican Senators and 2 Independents, and I think there are maybe 1 or 2 Democrats who might need some arm twisting.

See, your whole "right now" thing is a worry. It implies a belief that the Democrats will ever be allowed any semblance of power in the future.
Get the impeachment going. Even if it fails (it will), the members who vote against it will be noted in time for the time of the midterms. Do it a few times and you can establish a pattern.
