Tangentially related but I miss the days when the 2016 DOOM Slayer was yet to be confirmed as the original DOOM Guy from 1993. I thought it was way cooler to think that the Slayer was a genderless force of anger against evil and the fully-covering Praetor suit made it easy to think of them that way
There was absolutely no reason for them to give him a face. Irked me as well.
