The ultra rich are fucking weird in general. Too much money warps your soul quicker than the One Ring.

If you read the Epstein article in wikipedia you really just realise how they are all part of one social group.

Money is ultimately power and power corrupts ultimately

I think it’s more the kind of person you have to be to get that much wealth in the first place selects for unethical people.

It’s not like they were good people before they had the money.

Both might be true. Being poor seems to make people more empathic too.

I don’t think being poor made me more empathetic. I was always empathetic.

I was just a priviledged fuck that didnt realise how bad it could get. Now that I do, my empathy extends further because I understand how much worse it is than I previously realised.

I don’t think it made me more inherently empathetic though.

In case you guessed it already: Yes, the "far-right ideologue" is the infamous Alexander Dugin.

The "Foundations of Geopolitics" dude?

[–] Hegar@fedia.io 21 points 1 day ago

That's him, the one whose stated goals can be seen in every move the trump regime makes.

I've been waiting patiently for him to be reunited with his daughter

Is he taking his step-daughter who also happens to be his wife with him to the event?

attend the Forum of the Future

You must be the ultimate loser to believe that Russians grasp the concept of having a future. At least I'm glad people can start to understand that billionaires can be fucking morons.

[–] Mirshe@lemmy.world 1 points 18 hours ago

Oh, Russia has an idea of their envisioned future. They even have a checklist for it.

Unfortunately, a good chunk of the steps are "and then the country surrenders to the overwhelming might of the Russian military".

Fun fact, Errol heaps praise on Elon's brother, but speaks with disappointment and contempt about Elon. All MAGA has daddy issues.

[–] plyth@feddit.org 2 points 1 day ago

If only Musk would use LSD or whichever drug helps to resolve those issues instead of ketamine.

This man is brainless and just trying to make money on his son's name. Listen to him speak in any interview, he makes about as much sense as Donald

[–] 30p87@feddit.org 9 points 1 day ago

"in Russia" is the only (more or less) new thing

[–] philpo@feddit.org 4 points 1 day ago

Well, can the man not go to the international slave owner fair without being pointed at?

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee -1 points 1 day ago

Is his son Elon the far right ideologue who is hosting the event?
