Oh Kodi... (sh.itjust.works)

...where would I be without thee?

Been using it since around 2011, back when it was still called XBMC and running on an old laptop.

Installed Raspbmc on a Raspberry pi 1 as soon as it came out. Been using Libreelec for the last few years.

As my media needs have changed over the years, I've been able to use Kodi to meet them in different ways.

edit: SOLVED using the Trakt plugin

I love kodi as a solution that doesn’t require a server side component, my only complaint is that it doesn’t seem to have any ability to sync favorites, watched material, etc between different devices. Anyone aware of a plugin or settings that makes it work?

edit: I realize that syncing is usually a server component, but apps like Goodsync can do so with a client only by adding its own gsdata folders to keep an updated index of changes, for instance. Just wondering if Kodi may have a similar solution.

If you set up Kodi with MySQL, you can have a synced library and watched statuses between your instances.

This has already been solved using the Trakt plugin, but thank you for your feedback.
