"Nobody talks about it, and it makes you feel a little bad," the president said of sending aid to Gaza, where Palestinians have been starving to death.

Donald Trump expressed disappointment Sunday that nobody has thanked him for sending money meant to go toward food aid for Gaza, as Palestinians continue to die every day — either by starvation or by Israeli gunfire at U.S.-backed aid sites.

Appearing in Scotland alongside EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Trump was asked if Israel should do more to get sufficient aid into the Palestinian territory it has nearly flattened. The president responded with a bizarre complaint.

“We gave $60 million two weeks ago for food for Gaza, and nobody acknowledged it, nobody talks about it. And it makes you feel a little bad when you do that, and you know, you have other countries not giving anything,” he said, later specifying European countries.

“Nobody said, ‘Gee, thank you very much,’” he continued. “And it would be nice to have at least a thank you.”

Can’t believe this is one of the last people the pope saw.

Imagine being the fucking pope and a man who converted to catholicism not even a decade ago is arguing with you about catholic doctrine and you have to put up with it as you're actively dying because hes the vice president of the united states.

I swear Francis should've sent him a nun to explain grade school doctrine with a ruler until he got it

Anybody gonna tell him that the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza is big part thanks to his admin sending enormous aid packages to Israel? And what pains me the most is redirection of tens of thousands of AA rockets meant for Ukraine.

Ok cool, Trump, but what about those Epstein files?

He's a narcissist. The only reason Trump ever helps anyone else is for personal praise. He doesn't give a shit about Gazans. He cares about his own ego.

If he's responsible for the thanks, he's responsible for the criticism, too. If he wants thanks for them being fed, he deserves a serve for every baby that's died. Scum.

"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."

it's not even his own money, is it?

Let's line up all the starving people who are being genocided and shot at aid stations so they can each give him a kiss on the ass for all the good he's done for them. What a pig.

It's your obligation as a member of the UN

Well, when you tape the money to Israeli bombs and bullets for the delivery mechanism I think Gaza might be less enthusiastic about it.

I'd rather have well fed Palestinians than a thank you
