I went to get some chocolate as a present. A giant Toblerone was 6 quid!!!

I kind of went overboard buying myself two pairs of glasses. I couldn't decide which ones I wanted, so I bought a couple of similar ones hoping at least one fits well/looks good on me/is easy to see out of. Now I'm scared neither will and I wasted money on them.
I just bought a pair on zenni.com for 24 bucks
That is a great price! I've heard both good and bad things about Zenni. I think I skipped them because they block Tor users. They block me, anyway.
i ordered a couple pairs from GlassesShop (fingers crossed), but I keep looking at other sites, and thinking...well, maybe it would be nice to have 3 pairs. 😂
Oh yeah, I need progressives, so no way I'm getting them for less than $100 per pair.
Dry cleaning a 2 pce men's suit = $36 cad (pharmacy p/u). I was expecting $20-28.
I must be an optimist because I originally read your question to mean "what recent purchase did you get more out of than you expected to?"
Well, I bought some sauerkraut today and it turned out that the organic store brand was significantly cheaper than the same size name brand non-organic alternative. Also, organic eggs were on sale for $3.50 a dozen, and organic bread crumbs cost the same as the regular ones, so I did indeed get more than I expected.
i bought card sleeves without looking at the price. i thought they were €5 for 100, but they were €13.
