Ok, enough is enough; what does impeaching fucking do anyways? Didn't he get impeached twice and it made 0 fucking difference?
To clarify, the article is not talking about impeaching Trump. They are talking about impeaching their representative who is holding the town hall.
At that point, LaMalfa had already been berated by the audience, including with shouts of “No fascism in America!” and “You need to be impeached!”
That's probably a more effective threat too
2 part process, it's like charges.
Impeachment is the process of a Congress member drawing up the articles of impeachment (like a cop making an arrest claim). Then Congress votes on whether they seem realistic, needs 50% (A magistrate/state attorney filing charges)
Then the charges go to the judge/jury for verdict. Which is the Senate. They vote 2/3rds guilty to remove the president. Which did not happen. 57 senators voted guilty, and they needed 67 to remove. (7 of those 57 were Republicans, which is pretty impressive with how often parties fall in line).
But for sake of metaphor, charges were brought, he was found innocent
They found him not guilty. As in not enough evidence. Factual innocence is different. As in we have plenty of evidence he is innocent.
True, not guilty is more accurate. I was in the mindset of innocent until proven guilty, so used that term. Your wording makes more practical sense though. Just because a jury didn't find Casey Anthony guilty of killing her child doesn't mean she didn't kill the child.

They're just trying to manipulate the conversation around impeachment since many House Dems voted against impeaching him just recently.
It'd keep Congress too busy to pass more of their garbage right wing 2025 nonsense, at least for a while.
the senate, gop majority refused to convict thats why.

It does ensure his name get highlighted in history text.
This a start, a little too late but none the less change takes time and it’s always ugly.
I can only hope this happens more and more. I wish all these hicks would figure out they are not Washington republicans.

Now he should have the sack to listen to them and either resign or dedicate himself to fixing the problems he helped create.
