Beka Museum at the Rockefeller Center said it had also sent the letter, dated Aug. 14, to the White House, the Alaska attorney general, and the military base hosting the talks.
The letter:
While the U.S. is not a member of the ICC, the museum noted that such actions could be prosecuted under U.S. federal law, including the War Crimes statute and the 1954 Hague Convention protecting cultural property in armed conflict.
Sigh. One can hope, but one shouldn't be afraid of disappointment.
Doing this without Zelenskyy still weirds me out. But it could have the effect that the USA is finally recognized as a Failed State, alongside Russia. As I said, one can hope.
Not inviting Zelenskyy is a pathetic power move by Putin that only makes him look weak, imo.
It is BS I agree. But would Zelensky even meet with Trump again on USA soil after that Whitehouse farce last time?
