Bought a wastebin. It had a large sticker with the price and barcode on it. Now there's this dirty sticker glue residue that I can't get off. Grrr

- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.

Goo Gone is the best at getting rid of that residue. Worth every penny.
naphtha is even better.
Oh that's annoying, it's so hard to get off. Have you tried baking soda and white vinegar? They're pretty solid natural cleaners
I use something similar - baking soda with veg oil, until it becomes a paste. Apply, wait 2~3 min, rinse.
I usually use rubbing alcohol (isopropyl), it breaks down that goo immediately
If you let mayonnaise or peanut butter sit on it a bit, it should remove adhesives unless it's stupid old. It's worked for me with everything up until it comes to removing adhesive that's been sitting around since 1985 or whatever.
Mosquitoes.
Having quality time with yourself (nudge nudge wink wink) but not being able to finish. I did that earlier and I'm still grouchy.
That's the worst
Sharing your music in a fedi community, only to get downvotes on it.
Like genuinely, if you're the type of person to downvote other people sharing music they like, you're just a jackass. I'll never understand the logic people have doing that instead of just ignoring what they don't like.
Frustrates me even when it's just a single person doing it.
People vitch and moan about engagement but then they downvote anything that isn't their one niche taste. Let people enjoy things ffs people. Just ignore it and move on

Even this comment makes me want to bite those suckers off, when I don't have a clipper near
Unbearable...
The fly buzzing around my room.
Touch screen keyboards.
Opening condiment bottles. There's often a clear plastic over the top that's impossible to grip well enough to remove without using a tool or your teeth. Once you get that off, there's always a seal over the bottle itself that you have to remove the cap to get to. Sometimes, there's a little tab you can grip, but not always, so it's back to teeth or tools. Inevitably, when you manage to remove that, a film is left that you have to poke a hole into to get off so that the contents can come out.
I understand the need for safety, but geez.
Thanks Mr. Tylenol Bottle Poisoner from the 80s. Now we have to have 10 layers of security and a secret code to get into anything.
Who has never been identified. I hope they stab themselves with a pair of scissors trying to open a package.
One of my cats thinks human arms are infinitely stretchable. She asks to be butt-slapped, then gets further and further from you, and when you stop slapping her butt she looks at you with a "why did you stop?" face. She also "gently" paws your arm when she wants attention, except her mum didn't do a good job teaching her to retract her claws.
Since I'm complaining about one of my little shits, might as well complain about the other. When it's cold she sleeps inside a pocket-folded blanket, like this:
(Yup, there's a cat inside.)
To do that she "digs" on her blanket a bit, then I lift one of the sides (she doesn't get in by herself), then she does her silly milk dance, then she enters it. The problem is when the weather is just a wee bit chilly, because then five minutes later she'll get too hot and jump out of the pocket. And then she'll feel chilly again, and ask to get in again. And again.
Fruit flies (or something) pouring out of my food waste caddy every time I lift the lid. Started happening two days after I'd scrubbed the caddy and put in a fresh paper liner. They are tiny and very quick, hard to swat.
When I had something I wanted to say, but I forgot what it was.
"If you forgot it, then it was bullshit." - my grandma.
I apparently think up a lot of bullshit.
Yeah, actually, that checks. 😂
I just got a text from my spouse that there was a centipede in the living room. She said it was a defcon emergency. So I suppose that fits your criteria of small but frustrating.
