That is so icky and gross that the CBSA would send them back to the US while they are trying to seek asylum. The US cannot be considered a safe country.

I think we also just sent a few asylum seekers from Russia straight back to Putin. Nobody should want to come here currently or for a while after.

By the time Maxen arrived to pick up his relatives, CBSA had only allowed the elder sister, who did not want to be identified, to enter Canada and claim asylum. Border agents had taken issue with Paulna's paperwork due to a middle name on her documents that her siblings didn't have.

Why do middle names even matter?

Yeah I being Trans changed my name, some of the official government documents come with my middle name and some do not. I am really unsure if I style have it or not.

That's a legislative issue, not something the CBSA has authority over.
