Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
Popularity has definitely been increasing over the years, it's quick and affordable, so people who can't afford a car but still need to get places fast (at least, local places) often opt for an e-bike or electric scooter. I've actually got a car, know how to drive, etc. but usually still opt to use an ebike or bicycle most days (no parking issues and traffic is easy to get around).
One would think that this is impossible, considering they have a battery and no tank. Anyway, hope the repairs are done in time, showing up with a broken bike is not a good look.
