"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

But…. There’s a cargo rack right there on the back…

But they would need some sort of elastic attachment straps to use the cargo rack.

Like the ones holding the box to the frame?

[–] python@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It's too short for the whole box so it would stick over the back by quite a bit, or it would stick out to the sides if I put it there the other way around.

Stuff can usually hang off the back pretty far! I usually just run one strap all the way, straddling the back. It gets cinched tight so nothing can wiggle loose.

I've also stuck stuff in my pannier bags, leaving them open so long stuff just sticks straight up. Lash it to the frame and it's usually good enough to get stuff to the destination.

Local cyclist impaled by a steam mop in horrible traffic accident

[–] psx_crab@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 week ago

Must've been mangled by car to be able to get impaled by a boxed steam mop.

Will it still steer, or you just have to lean now?

[–] python@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)
