The POTUS pooped on protesting people. Here.

In a military jet. With the words "King Trump" painted on it. While wearing a crown of gold.

This is obviously a war on the American people by some sort of militarized psychological contagion. I personally think all of what we're seeing comes right out of Jerusalem. Which is the epicenter of American politics.

Regardless, I can see what they're doing and I respect the intensity of their work. But I know leftists can do much, much better than anything the right colonizes.

Seriously, the party of projection calling the No Kings Rally the Hate America rally while they destroy our country and rub it in our faces. Yet, somehow there is still a solid chunk of America (at least 30%) that acts like they just can't decipher whatever Lassie is trying to tell them.

I would guess less than half of that 30% are just pretending because they also hate America/are still on board with this Butterfly revolution bullshit. They are ready to tear it all down and rebuild it because in their unhinged imagination, serving the leader of a patriarchal monarchy run by back stabbing narcissists incapable of admitting fault regardless of how absurd they sound, is a utopia. They either can't fathom a dystopian world under constant surveillance, and shitty AI not capable of replacing doctors, scientists, and engineers, or they haven't thought that far ahead, and should probably watch Idiocracy to get a glimpse of their future.

The other half probably understands most of what Lassie is saying on some level, but their denial is a coping mechanism. Either way, we can't wait around for that 15-30% of America to come to their senses pull their heads out of their asses. At this point, if somebody refuses to acknowledge reality, there's no point in arguing with a brick wall. All you can do is state reality, and refuse to let them rile you up or gaslight you.

Poor trump, even in his fantasy where he’s a fighter pilot, he’s still incontinent

[–] DozensOfDonner@mander.xyz 23 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Dude the US really is a dystopian nightmare that the president can do weird shit like this with zero repercussions. I mean worrying a demented populist is one this but shouldn't a government have some sorry of other systems of accountability?

[–] BackgrndNoize@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

I used to think since America is a rich first world nation that it's people would be educated, boy was I wrong, most seem barely think beyond high school capacity

[–] HasturInYellow@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yes. They are in control of all of them seemingly. Or at least, they won't do their jobs.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

He will rubber-stamp Heritage nonsense, so the people who are supposed to act as guardrails are okay with it. The whole thing is fucked.

[–] callyral@pawb.social 2 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

someone showed me that video

[–] bzIlsn8Fxi@lemmy.world 3 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Here's the OG post from Trump. Video included. Enjoy?

[–] callyral@pawb.social 3 points 15 hours ago

wait was that posted by trump? (im not visiting truth social)

i thought it was a stupid AI meme on like tiktok or something

[–] FauxLiving@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

People literally don't know how to use literally

[–] frostysauce@lemmy.world 1 points 21 hours ago

Literally has also meant figuratively for like 20 years now. Get with the times.

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Until he actually dies, he'll be our continuous nightmare.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

After he dies we will be stuck with the evil he is installing with our infrastructure forever

Yes, there is tremendous damage being inflicted.

I'm just hoping the people can try to mend fences.

Any time someone mentions this:

[–] uniquethrowagay@feddit.org 3 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

What was left of American Democracy is dismantled as we speak. Do the Epstein files really matter anymore? Nobody gives a shit. Trump has almost certainly sexually abused minors. Do you think his followers will care at all if there is proof? Even if he is dethroned, won't some other MAGA dipshit just take the wheel?

[–] starelfsc2@sh.itjust.works 1 points 10 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago)

Nah it's just an example of "Republicans do something illegal then say something stupid to try and get people arguing about that instead." You can replace the epstein files with no kings protests, trump breaking laws by deploying the national guard, anything that actually matters. Point is don't take the bait and pay any attention to asinine stuff like this.

[–] Soulg@ani.social 2 points 20 hours ago

Maga is a cult, and cults don't just suddenly latch on to someone else when the leader goes. Typically they immediately collapse.

Hopefully that's what happens this time, too.

[–] Rooskie91@discuss.online 132 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Trump says the cities are a war zone, yet this video shows he knows they're not. He's not shitting on a bunch minorities all trying to kill each other, his shitting on white liberals peacefully protesting.

I see this video as a tacis admission that they know they're lying about the state of inner cities. They know their actual enemies are the white people that might side with the minorities they're trying to oppress.

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 39 points 1 day ago (3 children)

they know they’re lying

Here's the thing: these people aren't merely "religious"; they actually believe the Bronze-Age mythologies.

The only way to do that, and still function in the technological world around you, is to have an Orewllian-Doublespeak, Faith-based approach to reality.

In short, they habitually engage in belief without evidence

Once you practice that enough -- once evidence doesn't have a bearing on what's true -- then your own ability to know what is true and what simply feels good, is similarly eroded.

No, they don't know they're lying. They can't tell the difference between what their in-group culture Feels Good About, and what is objectively true.

[–] rumschlumpel@feddit.org 2 points 6 hours ago

Trump isn't religious, though.

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is an excellent explanation of why being slightly religious is still problematic. Once the sickness gets so bad they start hurting people, they act like their book doesn't say to hurt people, and they weren't encouraging the spiral into madness.

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

We need to view religion -- that is, faith, or in other words belief without evidence, the same way we view racism.

It is not really a personal matter. It is a profoundly uncivil way of dealing with others in a modern diverse society.

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago

It's true. You are spreading a cult, it is a lot like getting people hooked on drugs.

It should be illegal!

That's a basic wednesday for him. He could share a video him raping kids while doing coke and his supporter would call it master trolling. We need to evacuate this garbage man from our discussions, outrage his what he feeds on.

[–] MutilationWave@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I wanna see him try rapping, with or without kids.

[–] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 day ago (2 children)

lol, not the first time I've made that mistake. Putain c'est con la langue anlgaise.

[–] crapwittyname@feddit.uk 1 points 1 day ago

On ne râpe pas le fromage en anglais au moins.

there's a joke about him then using the constitution as TP in there somewhere...

[–] nieminen@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I hear he doesn't use TP. Being obnoxiously as stinky is one of his "power moves" or something.

[–] BastingChemina@slrpnk.net 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

History books in a few decades are going to be crazy!

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Bold assumption that we're still going to have books.

[–] TheseusNow@lemmy.zip 4 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago)

Bought copies of books with government documents like the constitution when we realized they were modifying the text on the whitehouse.gov site.

We are getting to a point were we have to start rejecting technology in favor of old standards that aren't easily manipulated, full of propaganda, and disinformation.

[–] ObsidianZed@lemmy.world 37 points 1 day ago

The best comment I've seen is someone saying "oh you mean the video where Trump empties his diaper?"

[–] RunawayFixer@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

I wonder if the ballroom will contain a throne and will thus actually be a throne room.

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago

I'm imagining a giant, cushy, golden toilet.

[–] LoafedBurrito@lemmy.world 43 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Gotta be crazy to be the operator chosen to destroy history for a traitor, felon, pedophile, and fraud.

Must have sucked to be chosen for that job.

[–] iAmTheTot@sh.itjust.works 23 points 1 day ago

Must it have? Statistically speaking it's not exactly unlikely that the man is a Trump supporter.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago

All of his sycophant buddies were high-fiving him in the locker room that day.

[–] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 19 points 1 day ago

I personally think all of what we're seeing comes right out of Jerusalem.

Why would they bother with this nonsense when they have a space laser they can use any time they want
