That sounds about right, haha! I've done the same, and then found myself in the attic trying to draw more Ethernet.
I’m guessing the logic involved not being able to ignore it once it’s all in the middle of the floor?

The second issue I run into is attachment. I literally did this and have a bag of clothes sitting in my closet taking up space because of this lol
I put the bag by the front door. I tripped over it for weeks.
I put it in my car. It might as well have disappeared from sight.
