Nah I’m good

I'm not interested but i guess if you keep it isolated to a community or instance i can block then that's fine. As long as it's ethically sourced gore

Not an interest from me, but IMO it's OK as long as it's marked NSFW and contained in a community and not spammed throughout other communities.

I mean nothing is stopping anyone from making their own instance of watchpeopledie. Just that they will be defederated from every single instances.

What do you feel from watching it? What exactly about it appeals to you?

With the issues that Lemmy clients have blurring content, and the problems some people have marking things NSFW or NSFL, I think that gore should be kept to its own instance.

I imagine you'd probably need to host your own instance for it, as most of the "open" instances are gonna have a hard time with it.

Not in this community and you may want to double check Lemmy.world Code of Conduct and rules before creating one on this instance.

There are other places you can find that stuff. If someone makes an instance for it, that’s fine, but it can be found elsewhere on other Reddit clone sites as well.

No thank you

To personally answer your inquiry: Yeah, but you're hard pressed to find it on this "fediverse" from what I can tell. There are actual peertube instances for it though. No, I am not linking them here, haha. I am sure that'll break some sort of rule.

There is a small audience for it but moderating it is going to be very difficult. Like others said, you will need to host your own instance and you will getting various levels of creepy folks who will be difficult to control. Eyeblech, make my coffin, etc did serve a purpose to document some of the worst parts of humanity, but it also attracts some of the worst people.

No. And I think if you have such a fetish for it you should seek professional help.

Your name makes your statement a mite funny.

Please mark this post NSFW or it will be deleted.

[-] ccunning@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Wait - what about this post is NSFW?

[-] Bluetreefrog@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Would you want your boss seeing it on your screen at work?

[-] ccunning@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

That was exactly the measure I was considering when I asked. I really don’t see anything here in this post that would concern me if my boss saw it.

Obviously the theoretical community should be marked NSFW though.
