Mozart feat The Flintstones (DJ Khaled remix)

[-] Blade9732@lemmy.world 51 points 6 months ago

Great, now I have the theme to "Westworld" stuck in my head.

One of my favorite shows and sad that it ended. It's great how the ones controlling the AI used social engineering to train AI and guide the people into a mold to which they can control their life. Sounds familiar.

What's disappointing about Mozart?

[-] emptiestplace@lemmy.ml 1 points 6 months ago

His compositions, mostly.

Thinking about the time when people on ~~social media~~ the internet wouldn't make up completely pointless and easily disproven shit for likes

[-] glimse@lemmy.world 25 points 6 months ago

I miss when people made original images instead of changing a few words on a meme template and having it spammed everywhere. It's like talking to people who can't have a conversation without quoting a TV show

It's like talking to people who can't have a conversation without quoting a TV show

Speaking of, I'm sick of people quoting the Simpsons/family guy/South Park/whatever followed by a huge comment chain of people quoting the rest of the fucking episode

[-] glimse@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago

I'm with you there

[-] fidodo@lemmy.world 11 points 6 months ago

I can't think of a time like that

[-] SchmidtGenetics@lemmy.world 5 points 6 months ago

The tech to do it used to be expensive and or clunky to use. Modern tech has made it easier and cheaper, so the entry bar is lower. So while it’s always been there, there is also a lot more than there used to be.

Fair enough, perhaps I should have been less specific with just "the internet"

E: fixed it

[-] CustodialTeapot@lemmy.world 5 points 6 months ago

Nah you're good. People just like to feel smart/feel like they did a "gotcha" when they "prove" someone wrong who spoke in a absolute. When it was blatantly obvious it was implied to not be an absolute term

[-] CobblerScholar@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago

Either that or because the universe is truly random sometimes and our brains are weird cool stuff happens

[-] Liz@midwest.social 14 points 6 months ago

Who decided the broad side of the building shouldn't have windows?

[-] KingOfSleep@lemmy.ca 8 points 6 months ago

architect probably

[-] Reddfugee42@lemmy.world 3 points 6 months ago

Architect was more a fan of Arches

[-] MightyCuriosity@sh.itjust.works 2 points 6 months ago

I think it's all glass from the looks of it

[-] Liz@midwest.social 1 points 6 months ago

Oh my god it is! You really gotta look at the details to tell.

[-] bulwark@lemmy.world 14 points 6 months ago

I just hummed my vague recollection of the Flintstones themes song. This checks out.

[-] Numenor@lemmy.world 3 points 6 months ago

Can you hum it for me, I can't remember

[-] Reddfugee42@lemmy.world 4 points 6 months ago

The sixth note is half a tone high, but good effort.
