Obama was a dynasty? I must’ve missed those other Obama elections.
Aggregating some information in this comment based on what I’ve read throughout the internet.
- Authorities have identified the vehicle of the one in Oregon (and likely Washington) and probably know who’s behind it at this point. AP News
- Authorities have arrested the person responsible for the ballot fires in Phoenix ABC Phoenix
- There was a conversation on Truth Social from a user named Elwoodblues50 that suggested doing just this. I have no idea how coordinated it was, but it definitely sounds like something that has been going around right wing circles for a bit. sorry Reddit link
- These ballot boxes have measures to protect the ballots in the case of fire. One of the ballot boxes had up to 100 ballots destroyed, the others were in the single digits.
- Oregon and Washington both have websites that allow you to check the status of your ballot. If you know anyone in who may have been impacted by this, have them check the websites and request a new ballot if theirs wasn’t accepted. Oregon. Washington
I like this scatter plot. If you really want to get freaky with it, you should take into account the “protein digestibility-corrected amino acid scores.” Things like eggs and whey are 100%, beans are usually in the high 70’s, and peanuts are actually down at near 50%.
So for nutrition’s sake, not all protein sources are created equal, and it makes sense that if you are trying to get adequate protein at the lowest price, you also want to get sources where you can eat the least of it to satisfy the protein requirements of your body.
Once you can lift over 100, you reach enlightenment and never miss the hole.

But people, have some self reflection here. If anyone is so paranoid about toxicity that they feel the need to make a guide like this, then the toxic one may be them.
People are people. Everyone probably displays hints of these traits at times depending on how their day was, or something that’s been hiding beneath the surface. But it’s more nuanced and I can’t say I’ve ever met a single (consequential) person in my life that I would define by any of these categories.
I’m curious what they mean by “failure.” I read the article but didn’t get a clear definition. Isn’t one of the expected outcomes of agile the ability to experiment rapidly and move on when the experiment fails?
So what if you fail 300% more? If you’re able to get 300% more ideas to the stage where you can test their viability, then it’s a success.
Sigh. The ol “We investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing.”
My thoughts exactly. 4 years of a democratic president (and Joe Manchin + Kyrsten Sinema being sticks in the mud) got the blue line to where it is now. That doesn’t mean it stays there forever. Another 4 years of a democratic executive and legislative branch will get us much closer to that yellow line.
We have to keep pushing forward and prevent the country from doing significant environmental backsliding like it did in 2016-2020.
The guys at Pod Save America/The World seem to each have their own individual that gets under their skin more than most. Pieffer has/had Paul Ryan, Lovett has Rubio, and Rhodes has Kushner.
Whenever his name is brought up on those pods, it’s a 50/50 shot whether Rhodes or Vietor go on a 5 minute rant roasting Kushner and just how slimy he’s been.
A week or so ago I had just finished a tough workout at my big box gym and was heading back to my car around sunrise. I looked up and saw the most beautiful and massive pink and purple ripples stretched out from the edge of the horizon to where I was standing. It was so impressive that I had to stop a moment in the middle of the parking lot and soak it in. Then, within 2 minutes, the clouds had shifted and everything returned to a depressing gray.
Beauty like this is everywhere, but it sure can be fleeting.
So I guess buying a water filter for my tap at home isn’t going to save me.
In my world the 2010’s were very much “cloud” and “devops”
Now it’s 100% “AI”
