Shh they like to say "only 22k jobs" like we're still growing just not as fast

The media today was a case study in "ok don't panic everyone"

My boss just lies. My predecessor DID have open heart surgery, and retired so he could have a heart replacement, so he missed a lot of time. They used to have a "sick time bank" but turned it off and enabled rollover instead. So my boss apparently just told everyone he was in his office for 6 weeks while he was hospitalized. Nice, but shouldn't have to risk your own career and retirement to be human.

I went to a gay camp earlier this year and a couple of the RVs had starlinks. They don't care and they don't think their dollars matter.

In fact I had a whole chat with my boss today about Chick Filet, he asked if I was boycotting (and said his gay daughter is too). He then launched into this spiel about how you're always supporting evil somehow so it doesn't matter.

I'm like, yeah but not one penny of my money goes to them, and that's all I can care about.

Maybe it's just really long, like a foot long, and it's just wrapped around where you can't see

In which case the other dude is in for a wild night

About a year ago, we started seeing that "this app is depreciating" warning and sure enough, snatched up. But it does still work for now.

Microplastics in the air caused by brake and tire dust seem to be the most compelling link I've seen. But that would mean a rethink of way too much, so blame a generic drug no one will bother defending.

For normal people yes, for people who lack emotional regulation, "I am sad" can be an identity because you might get stuck in it for years at a time. Decades.

I think the author here is speaking to those people more than just your average joe who could care less about the distinction between state and characteristic because they understand the difference already.

Having a gun will not protect you from the military, which is now our enemy.

There is only the option to run and I encourage trans people to begin executing those plans I know you've been making to get to higher ground. Pool your resources, go together, support each other.

Hey I'm stuck here also and have made it a project to connect and unify all the queer organizations. Stay tuned but it's time we got our shit together and several of us agree. We can be more effective. We should be more effective.
