You can just download the offical Minecraft launcher for Linux but do yourself a favor and grab Prismlauncher. Even on Windows it's just overall better.

If I recall correctly Linux Mint has flatpak support out of the box so you should be able to download it from the flathub link on the offical Prismlauncher site.

I remember one Christmas dinner one of my aunties asked about iCloud and how are they "storing pictures n stuff inside clouds now?" (physical clouds!)

Everyone immediately looks at me and most of them probably didn't believe me when I said it's just a marketing term for storing your data on a companies "computer"/server.

My family is mostly tech illiterate, but still call me paranoid when I tell them the actual truth behind the tech they're putting their trust in.

Setting Aliases because I can't remember the new ones

I got a buddy who switched to EndeavourOS after using Linux Mint for about a year, He said he was too lazy to learn pacman/yay so he spent an hour making fake apt aliases, I forgot what happened but after a while he gave up on it and just got use to pacman.

Windows 11 got quite a few people to look into trying Linux

I personally didn't think Win11 was that big of a downgrade over Win10, But I also didn't like 10 to begin with so I didn't need much convincing.

It's not that I won't but I do try to go out of my way to support smaller artists I enjoy, especially nowadays.

Lucky it's gotten a lot easier with sites like Bandcamp, but it's better if I can buy directly from the bands own store.

Honestly the only time I've had issues with my Nvidia card on Endeavour have been when I tried Wayland

Still going full AMD for my next PC upgrade.

You want buttons back because they're easier to use

I want them back because I think car interiors look bland without them

We are not the same...alright I also want them back for the first reason aswell.

Old Thinkpads running Arch are basically the new Blåhaj

And I'm all for it!

As a Linux newcomer the Wayland/X11 thing has been the most confusing thing I've witnessed.

Surely the average person will just use what works best on their system at that time? I don't get people wishing to throw Wayland in the trash or the people who take issue with people still using X11.

Kinda just seems like arguing because you have nothing better to do.

I haven't tested it myself personally but this menu for KDE seems to be what you're looking for?

"Natural" only seems natural if you were raised mostly on touchscreen devices, I've never seen a desktop have inverted scroll like that.

On a side note, Why do so many Linux programs not support auto scrolling by default if at all?

I didn't even know autoscroll was the name of middle clicking to scroll were your mouse went until I switched to Linux and noticed it missing in certain places.
