In rural areas, yes.
In cities, Gigabit internet is abundant and only mildly expensive. Here in Phoenix I pay $60/mo for 1 Gbps down, 50 Mbps up with no bandwidth cap from Verizon. Not the best but far from "awful".

I've been playing that new Ratchet & Clank on PC, and man is it such a fun game to play while high. Beautiful, modern visuals. Very colorful, lots of pretty particle effects. Characters so detailed and animation so fluid that it feels like you're playing a Pixar movie. Easy to pick up and play so it's not overwhelming when you're stoned.
Definitely a must-play if you partake and so-happen to have a decent gaming PC. If not, then I'm sure the PS5 version is decent too.
That and right-wing propaganda. So much propaganda.
Just click on any video from a "liberal media" outlet, (like CNN), and look at the comments. (Or the dislike count if you have Return YouTube Dislike installed.)And then look at a video from Fox News. Nothing but praise for them, while the "liberal" videos are filled with so much hate from right-wing trolls.
If you didn't know any better, you could be lead to believe than 98% of Americans are Republican.
Seriously, lol; how did this post even get upvotes? (UpLemmies? Whatever they're called here)
I'm wondering how Royal Caribbean is handling the situation. Did they halt trips to their "private island" there? Cause it's really just a peninsula with a not-so-high fence.
Are they even still using that spot? Cause they have their own actual private island now.
Relay when?
Thunder is okay but it doesn't have filters and it won't load more than 10 posts total when I'm logged in.
Honestly I'll never understand why she chose to go down that path. Becoming Muslim goes against everything she stood for. I just don't get it.
See that's the problem with you truck people; a V6 is considered weak in your world.
Meanwhile the V6 in my Genesis Coupe is fast enough to get me to 60 MPH in under 6 seconds. And unlike a truck, it can actually take a corner at speed.
Unless you're a farmer, there's no reason to own a truck. I even bought one once to see what the hype was all about; got rid of it after less than a year cause I was sick and tired of getting 18 MPG and not even having fun while doing it. If I'm going to get poor fuel economy, I should at least be able to go fast.
EDIT: I mean I get the "more practical" argument, but let's be honest with ourselves here: How often do you REALLY use the truck bed? With the money you're saving in gas by driving something smaller and more economical, you could easily afford to rent a truck each and every time you need to move something. You're literally spending twice as much as you need to in gas, just for those occasions where you might need to use the bed. A U-Haul is less than $100/day (inc. gas + mileage); you're spending more than that every time you fill up, when you could be saving over $50 each time at the pump. It's simple math.
Fuck that; not going to put my own vehicle in the crossfire.
While I normally don't advocate fucking with another person's property, keying every single panel of this vehicle is absolutely justifiable in this situation.
Hijacking this comment cause more people REALLY need to know about Debrid services, such as Real-Debrid. It "caches" torrents, so anything you want can be downloaded instantly at your connection's maximum bandwidth; no waiting for seeds. And since you're not distributing anything, you don't have to pay for a VPN, either.
EDIT: It's kind of like a seed box, except it's more of a collective seed box. So if at least one user added the torrent before, you can download it immediately.
I have a Gigabit connection and was able to download three different AAA titles, 50+ GB each, play all of them, then decide that I don't like any of them, all within a couple of hours. It's mind-blowing how much faster it is than using a torrent client.
Even better, you can integrate it with your favorite media center app like Plex or Kodi (personally I prefer Stremio for its Netflix-like interface). Now you have every show and film from every streaming platform -- all in one place -- streamed instantly to your TV. I'll never use torrent clients ever again. They take too long.
EDIT: It bothers me that so many people are willing to dismiss Debrid services without even giving them a chance. Here's proof that this is legit -- /r/Piracy megathread on reddit | Video 1 | Video 2 (sorry for the shaky phone video. I just wanted to get this evidence out quickly before people move on to a different thread, and it's kinda difficult to have a steady hand when you're trying to film and click at the same time.)
What the hell ever happened with ReiserFS (or whatever it was called?) It was supposed to be used in Vista, and then just never was.
