The Stonewall Riot. If I remember correctly, a trans woman is said to have thrown the first stone at a police car/policemen.

This also what most cellars look like in Europe if your building hasn't been constructed in the last 70 years.

Wait a minute! This trans sub doesn't have a fire exit!

Probably pretty hard to punish your entire work force. Next they could start boycotting you for punishing them. Or maybe their tariff contract may also cover this as legal strike action.

The interesting thing with these type of news stories is for me, that any time I look up the haircut the school banned, it's mostly a really good looking cut.

It always cements for me that it is never about what the hair actually looks like esthetically, but that it is a predominantly "black" haircut, like an Afro or tight curls.

I always found the thought alone scary. Imagine losing one year of your life locked up. Everything around you would just 'move past' while you're caged in. Now imagine eight years of your past life and how much happened in that time and what you would have missed.

I don't think any country should have lifelong (timely unlimited) sentences, they're incredibly cruel, maybe worse than death.

That also assumes every bill you use will be immediately returned to a bank. You'd have no way of knowing where money comes from and belongs to after one hop. Just make a purchase at the supermarket to exchange a 50 for 45 and you've got anonymous cash.

But using LIDAR, you increase your data's accuracy and dimensionality, giving you more options to play with. It probably won't be a game changer, but it may be better than a camera only system.
