Not Canada. Tuition in Canada is as expensive as comparable schools in the US. We just don't really have the ultra expensive tier like Harvard.
Etymology is not just the meaning of words but their history. How they were coined and what they meant at different times in the past.
Biden is following the same US-ally mutual defense policy that has been in place since Israel was founded
Maybe he should change that policy.
This is the same excuse I hear from my idiot bosses on why we can't do things more efficiently: iTs PoLiCy!
Policies can be changed.
People still want the streaming service experience of scrolling for 30 minutes before giving up and watching something they've already seen.
Half the wall in the OP is all one brand. Not just one company, but one brand.
We're already in the corporate dystopia.
I put a washing machine in the back of my Toyota matrix.
Gee it's almost like giving handouts to ~~the Grocery Oligarchs~~ rich people was a bad idea.
FTFY
doesn't matter what industry they're in; they don't need it.
I think we need to stop thinking about careers as dreams to be followed, and more as a means of making money. Dreams can be followed in your free time. Life demands money.
As someone who spent ten years attempting to follow my dreams and is now broke because he has a shitty job, it would be a lot easier to follow my dreams now if I had more money to spend and more time off to do it in.
If you have to work all the time just make ends meet, you don't have time to follow your dreams. Get a good job first, then follow your dreams with all the money and time off you'll have.
I printed a sprinkler to stick on the end of my watering can out of PLA.
Its been outside in all weather, including direct sunlight, for three years now. And water runs through it almost every day for 8 months of the year. It's a little faded, but that's it.
IMO the things people say about PLA regarding exposure are vastly over stated.
Like not believing in fantasy?
Actually the term was coined all the way back in the 70s, by Richard Dawkins in his book The Selfish Gene.
It means a cultural gene. It's a piece of culture that is so pervasive it can be said to be a part of the genetic code of the society. Examples are the smiley face, tic tac toe or other simple common games, that S thing we all drew as kids, etc.
Not all jokes are memes, and not all memes are jokes.
It smacks of Victorian literature. I'll be adding this one to my verbiage, thanks.
