So a poorly made electric vehicle by one manufacturer means that the entire field is non-viable?

EDIT: Lmao, check out this guy's posts, every single comment is shitting on battery EVs and shilling hydrogen vehicles. I don't know how much you're being paid to shill for the fossil fuel industry, but I hope it's enough.

Ugh, no thank you, school was like a shitty job you can't quit, physical violence is brushed off and your future is held hostage by underpaid govenment workers who either don't care about you or actively hate your guts. I would sooner die than return to that time and place.

Reverse Brexit

It doesn't work that way. They have to apply for membership and go through the standard process. It's not like they can snap their fingers and become a core member once again, until the next populist leader starts threatening to leave.

You will take your spyware infused Chromium and you will like it.

Terrible article, the author stokes a completely basesless moral panic.

Porn has been the go-to scapegoat for every societal ill since time immemorial, and this is just the latest iteration of the constant fretting about it.

And the article he quotes is even more ridiculous. Now fantasy girlfriends are an existential threat to women? If a man wrote about how he has to compete with romance novels and sex toys he would be derided as a fragile loser.

I am bored with this type of discourse.

I think Musk is a hack and a conman, but what the fuck is with lefty twitter accounts that think behaving like a completely braindead troll online will sway anyone? Hexbears on lemmy have the same style of moronic shit slinging.

Let's face it, these people are run-of-the mill internet trolls who are working with a politics angle. Their only cause is distruption of online communities for shits and giggles. Treat them like any other troll - block on user level, defederate on instance level.

Defederating brigaders and trolls is necessary to maintain a healthy community. If your instance is defederated from all major instances, perhaps you should look examine what sort of company you keep.

Users: Use the product as it was designed and advertised.

While I dislike bloat, I also avoid distros that have been minimalized to the point of uselessness. Minimalist distros are great for old and embedded computers, but regular desktop ones should not require you to install 90% of the OS after booting it.

Man, the replies are shilled as hell. There's a war of aggresion in Europe, and nobody can afford to be a bystander. We have paid bitterly for inaction against dictators in the past, and we must not let history repeat itself. No amount of fake handwringing or nuclear sabre rattling will change the fact that Ukraine is a free and sovereign nation, and that Russia has no right to have any territorial pretensions towards it. As for the paid trolls and contrarians - history will not remember you kindly.

RSS is a convenient way of getting content without bothering with bookmarks and getting annoyed with ads. I'm on a RSS finding spree, so I've decided to share this with you.

Over reliance on algorithms has degraded the user experience to the point that the average user is drowning in ragebait and extremist politics, because they drive up engagement. Just like a toddler, algorithms don't discriminate between good and bad attention, so everything that gets clicks is thrust forward. Now, you could hope to train the algorithm to show you only postive things, but engagement is engagement and the algorithm curators often engage in rage farming, where your feed is injected with things that are likely to enrage you.

You can avoid this by installing an RSS reader, going to your favorite sites, and manually adding a RSS feed. Now, your reader has things that you manually selected, with the added bonus of having a content pipe free of malicious interference. You can also divide topics in a way that you can avoid certain themes and news until you decide to engage them.
