They are not allowed to charge you for this, and it was not made clear in any way that your former boss would charge you. Any lawyer worth their salt would laugh this out of court.

In many areas they are also legally obligated to give you the information you requested free of charge.

The same blue wave as the 2024 elections? Yeah, I'll believe it when voters actually go out and vote.

Trump is a failed businessman trying to treat the country as a business, and is acting like a CEO instead of a leader. If course it is going to fucking fail.

Any paperwork you fill out essentially requires you to fill in your SSN. They might as well be public considering how many businesses claim they need it. SSNs have been highly insecure for decades now.

Japan once again thinks they lost sales when they don't even offer the product in that region.

Another thing people seem to forget is that with an exercise bike you can stop whenever you want and be in a place of safety. Knee pain in the middle of the road? Yeah, no thanks.

Please don't do this. You can ask them for what you want. Don't waste food.

Trained on content posted by a generation that is constantly told things are their fault.. I could see this happening.

I would argue the Steam Deck was never really meant to target the newest and greatest.

Counter argument - one place means a monopoly which, when run in a capitalist society, does more harm than good. In addition, when you spread low subscription cost among multiple providers it makes it harder to recoup costs.

Counter-counter argument - we have a lot of trash being made. We can do without a lot of reality TV. Id opt for less choice with higher quality than a lot of choice where you have to dig for gems.

With that out of the way, as a customer I would love to have my content in one place as it makes it easier.

I feel this. There are a lot of companies trying to be a tech company that don't understand what it means to be a tech company. IT and devops get particularly shafted - if everything is running fine it gives the appearance that they aren't needed when in reality it takes a load of work to keep things running smoothly. In addition they are massive cost centers and don't actually make money, so they are first on the chopping block. Every company I've worked at has had a severely understaffed IT/devops team.
