As a former nuclear submarine officer known for his temperament and poise, tonight should be a lesson to all, never go after this Navy Nuke’s family.

I’m a dog owner but I agree. The worst are the people who bring them in the grocery store. Like if you’re out walking the dog and go in a convenience store for a drink that’s one thing but there’s fresh vegetables and stuff in the grocery store instead of prepackaged food so pets definitely don’t belong there. These same people don’t clean up their poop even at the dog park so before I can play with my own dog I have to go hunting and clean up so I don’t get crap on my shoes.

Us responsible dog owners are tired of this crap too.

Someone downvoted you but you are correct. The report used assumptions based on satellites not even made of the same materials as starlink satellites.

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2023/10/spacex-says-faa-is-wrong-about-starlink-satellite-debris-falling-to-earth/

Among other things, SpaceX said the FAA's debris estimates were based on a 23-year-old study of satellites that were made with different materials than Starlink satellites. SpaceX says its own satellites are designed to burn up completely when they reenter the atmosphere.

The FAA report to Congress did include a caveat that said, "If SpaceX is correct in reporting zero surviving debris, as SpaceX reports in FCC filings, and Starlink is a fully-demisable spacecraft, the rise in reentry risk is minimal over the current risk."

This isn’t about the weight sensors, it’s using “computer vision” to detect you didn’t scan something and forces employees to get involved.

All the Walmarts I’ve been to have the bagging area weight sensors turned off. It seems the local grocery store finally turned theirs off because using a reusable bag used to set it off.

Home assistant is working on a voice assistant but it’s not done yet. They’re supposed to announce progress on a YouTube live stream on the 12th.

Most of the issue with loading times are the billion ads and trackers. There are sites I visit that load instantly with Adblock on but extremely slow without it.

That’s the most ridiculous part to me. Why isn’t this able to continue off the car battery? It should be do not disconnect car battery if anything. I hope there’s some sort of fail safe to prevent it from bricking that doesn’t involve a factory reset or dealer visit.

they were met with a blank screen that showed no search results and a pop-up linking to the website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Preventing finding misinformation and sending to a trusted source sounds good to me. Social media being used as a source is why idiots were eating horse dewormer.

Seems to be a cesspool of toxic parents who's children had to go no contact for their mental health. Not unexpected for that website of course.

Obviously Four seasons landscaping couldn't accommodate his press conference and this is just his excuse.
