Imagine the moma duck as a oval cylinder of uniform density

I live in a very hilly city. The motor can easily do 20 up a steep hill and then gravity 30 down. Thats without my contribution. With my contribution it can go even faster.

lol maybe I’ll just ride slower

Aventure 2, default tires.

Can I go somewhere and just get fit and buy a set of good gear? I may want a motorcycle anyway

Ok, where do you go for that? Do you get fit?

The bike is going it’s designed specs. It’s an Aventon Adventure 2. I haven’t modified it. I can just pedal it up from motor 20 to man power 30.

Pants are kinda hard to get on and off and I might not want to wear them all day. Do they have like “overpants”?

Well that’s what they say they are doing but it’s still not flawed. If I wanted to pay off my debt effectively and quickly I’d get a better job AND reduce my spending. So higher taxes (preferably on the rich) and reduce spending (preferably on non essentials like the military overspending)

All I’m saying is as my parents let’s say you would question my decisions if I did what you suggest, cut my hours but cut my spending MORE. That would be kinda sus.

That’s a much more logical approach, and I think the argument makes it pretty clear that fixing the deficit is not in Republican interests, it’s just lip service. Which is a big problem since the deficit could destroy the economy in the near future.

Lemmy, Mastodon (but don’t care for it), Pixelfed

But do you actually have friends on friendica?

I try to stay on federated platforms that don’t require a social network effect from people I know irl.

Anything else I need?

I feel pretty safe with all this but it still honestly scares the crap out of me riding at 30+mph with cars.

The budget is the death nail to those agencies so they are going away shut down or not.

But if we shutdown EVERYTHING we might be able to show how stupid that is and make it temporary or get some concessions.

TikTok basically invented shorts. Maybe Snapchat. And everyone else’s sucks because their AI isn’t as good. It’s a toxic medium anyway. I with the Pixelfed creator would just focus on Pixelfed, I use that and it’s a total win, just needs some kinks worked out and more popularity.

I feel like it would be best to proxy YouTube, or subscribe to paid indie channels like nebula, but without a user base and without ad revenue or subscription revenue I don’t know how quality content can come to PeerTube. Maybe I’m just missing the content but when I’ve checked it’s all very low quality, just random unedited webcam vblogs mostly.

I put a stop loss of $265 on VTI for 25% of my portfolio. Then I hope to reinvest it in PHYS (gold) and VDC (consumer staples with some dividends).

I have a stop loss on the rest of my portfolio on its cost basis (about a 21% drop). If that happens I’d probably wait for the low via 50 day EMA crossing then buy QQQ or something high gain.

When I’m logged into my moderator account I see “!techunionization@programming.dev is completely empty” despite having 3 posts. When I log out and use a private browser tab I see it.

Just to be clear, this is NOT a Marxist, Anarchist, Liberal, or Conservative community. This is a WORKERS community, acting in workers self interest. All are welcome.

Purely political posts must be motivated by inspiring tech unionization.

Of course, hate politics will not be tolerated. Immigrants are workers. Women are workers. The disabled are workers. LGBT are workers. They are all your allies.

I believe AI is the road to a greater utopia. But that on the way it’s much more likely to create a dystopia of surveillance, unemployment, class struggle, etc. I believe that tech workers are the only people who can decide which route this technology takes, by saying no to employers who push for unethical practices or who fail to engage in AI safety. In order to do that, we need powerful unions, not just of AI workers but tech workers in general. Tech is such an impactful industry, it’s essential that workers regulate it rather than billionaires. We can see how tech has cozy’d up to the Trump administration. We all experience frequent mergers and layoffs. We all know everything we do is being logged by surveillance systems produced by the tech industry. And we all know that our high salaries and benefits will not last long if AI begins writing the majority of code. Push for human in the loop systems that protect our jobs, that move us into AI safety, and that give us a political say in our bosses greed.

Is there a github issue or discussion about implementing pods for lemmy?
