If anyone has a better idea for a title, this one’s a little iffy…

I found a new yogurt flavor (alpro lemon-lime) that tastes just like key lime pie to me. I’d like to make it into an actual pie, but it’s a bit too runny.

I’d prefer to avoid cooking the yogurt, so I figured corn starch, flour, and tapioca would all be out. I could do chia seeds, but I don’t necessarily want that texture.

Any ideas?

That would be hilarious, in a really cynical way. I’m just imagining a literally rabid Republican candidate campaigning. MAGAers would probably stop drinking water in solidarity and we’d get to really test out that “I could shoot someone on fifth avenue” theory, but with biting on campaign stops.

After having gone to catholic school and church every week, I can only enthusiastically disagree about the former. Almost every nun I know was raised catholic and Jesus Christ, are 90% of them awful.

Buddy, friend, gamer. It’s march. Can you bring this out in six months? There is no reason to fill everyone’s feed up like this and sow political division on the left over seven months before it’s relevant.

Plus, the pressure looks like it’s working, so a vote for Biden might be a lot more palatable then. A lot of your work might get done automatically

I’m wondering if cats think of us kind of like how a person thinks of a friendly bull: aware that they could easily kill us, but not necessarily afraid of them; or more like a large Dalmatian: they could fuck us up, but most of us don’t really think about that unless they’re being aggressive.

I grew up with dogs and feel like I understand them a lot better than I do cats as a whole. I adopted my cat almost four years ago and I feel like I get her pretty well, but I don’t really have an idea of what she thinks about me. I also don’t really know any other cats, though I’ve gotten along with strays and friends’ cats a lot better since I got mine.

I’m sorry if this is not in the spirit of the community, but I figured my dad would know because of his experience woodworking, and I don’t want to ask him for obvious reasons. I’m happy to remove it if it doesn’t fit.

I have an aluminum herb grinder, that regularly gets jammed up with resin. I tend to use a regular (probably pine) food skewer to clean it off, because I don’t want metal shards coming off of the aluminum from a metal scraper or plastic pieces from a plastic scraper. The pine works okay, but I have to replace it regularly and it can’t get everything.

I know pine is probably one of the softest woods, but would a hard wood be significantly more durable if it were cut as thin as a skewer (4mm diameter round)? Would anything be both reasonably obtainable (I live in a place with frequently abandoned old furniture, if that would be a good source, or I can go to a lumber store) and more durable enough to be worth it?

It’s potentially offensive when people say men and females, which is often why it comes up online. Using either male or female as a noun is dehumanizing, in that it’s not commonly used to refer to people, but mostly animals (law enforcement and military use them as nouns, but they’re also intentionally distancing themselves from the people in reports).

Basically, “women” feels weird for a lot of English speakers, but “girls” sounds creepy, so they try for something else. Just go with women, 99% of the time, it’s perfectly fine

Ace people? Yes. Pedophiles? No. It’s that simple.

In the third season of the legend of korra, a group of people try to get rid of a monarchy (which is long established as especially unequal and oppressive) in favor of self government. They also try to get rid of the avatar, because she is an infallible being with incredibly outsized power. I love the avatar universe and get how they needed to fight them, but the group wasn’t wrong

I’m a woman. My most frequently practiced hobbies are watching my fiancé cook, playing with my cat, dicking around on the internet, and playing word games. Because hobbies are to relax and I’m working and getting a Masters. When I had more time, I also danced a bunch and played Pokémon go.

The things the women in your life are doing, are providing services for the people around them, through food, knitted goods, and photo albums. Women also want a break, but we don’t get one if no one in our lives gives us one.

Six years ago, my terrible ex would have said that I loved reading organizational blogs and baking, but that’s because he was a slob whose family had weekly parties that I was expected to bake for. Maybe all the women in your life are stepford bots, but maybe you should try learning to knit or cook with some of them, and see if they branch out or just need some help.

Edit: grammar

Okay, so hamas has Israeli hostages. In retaliation, Israel takes 2.3 million Palestinian hostages?

Mushrooms, onions, garlic, mustard, spinach, chili, vegan yogurt, vegan cevapcici , vegan beef broth, capers, and farfalle. It was incredible.

Hang on, do you mean “with the least capacity to be smart,” or is he killing all the babies and children?

Well yeah, they’re constantly getting death threats. Being a well known trans person is in itself radicalizing because of all the shit to wade through
