Controversial opinion: whats the point of stonehenge if there is no humanity? Its not like it fosters some ecosystem or smth for other species, its a historical piece which holds sentimental value to us humans.

If we continue to use oil, we will for sure fuck up humanity. The act was controversial but the message needs to be looked at

Not quite, in order to have a technology you need methods, materials and society needs to be ready for the tech.

I recently learned that 50 years ago someone filed a patent for solar panels with more than 20% efficiency and the us government was like yeah its too revolutionary so you can't sell this nor tell anyone about this unless it is US military. Imagine we all could have had >20% solar panels 50 years ago, even today we are only marginally above 20% efficiency.

Another example, would be the company who made the iPhone like device well before iPhone but the market wasn't ready.

Another example that is fucked up. Governments are starting to restrict AI for consumers but also using AI to kill children in Gaza.

I'm pretty sure a lot early doctors were also burned at stakes because they were called witches or smth.

Lol this reminds me of a time when I had KDE desktop environment installed on vanilla ubuntu. I thought I didn't really need ubuntu's default desktop environment and decided to 'purge' it. I quickly realized my f up when it deleted so many packages and ui started to act weird, I copied the shell's output to a file just incase, and sure enough I couldn't login with ui on next reboot. I was somehow able to login to shell and with some awk magic I was able to parse the text file to get all the packages I deleted and lo and behold everything worked just fine. Linux let's you f'up your OS but it also let's you fix it, it's just a skill issue.

So I have the api working as in I can send audio files and get text back but what I am looking for is a robust way to have streaming functionality. For example, if there is a small duration of silence it should stop recording and send the audio to api etc.

Is there any such library in python?

All these news about Yuzu made me realized I never tried a switch emulator. For education purposes I am interested in guides with links to prod keys. Anyone have any links?

Thanks in advance!

It was probably cuz you can't run plagiarism checks on it.

Okay dunno if this question is allowed so remove it if it is. I never got into twitter but I thought I should give mastodon a try but now I need suggestions on whom to follow.

I am posting it here because I think I somewhat align with the population of this community better.

If you rearrange the letters in "sanders" it actually becomes hamas.

Make a subreddit and set it to private. Then 3rd party apps should work. I currently use boost for reddit. You might need to look for a binary on apkpure or smth.

Let's be rebellious!

Guys the reason this study is important is because covid vaccines used revolutionary technology, they were the first to use mRNA based protein. If you remember we sequenced its genome within 40 days the making the vaccine was considerably easy. This is the main reason it took only 2 years for the vaccine to be made compared to years of development for other vaccines.

At the time probably yes, now we don't know/probably not. Note that love is complicated and has different types like there is passionate love and companionate love. Passionate love rises quickly within 6 months to 1.5 years, it reaches its peak. Then it goes down hill and within 7 years it goes to its lowest point. This happens to everybody not just you, naturally this love converts into companionate love over this time and when that does not happen it needs to end. Companionate love is slow in rising but it is also more lasting. Two main components of companionate love are 1) emotional intimacy - ability to share anything 2) commitment - that feeling that it is YOUR responsibility to help them if they need something. Any action that violates these will result in losing love.

Some actions that hurt love: lying, hiding things, feeling you're the only one who cares etc.

Know this, true love or companionate love is something both people nurture and grow, you cannot do it all on your own. If it ended then something went wrong, maybe nobody was at fault.

Take your time and heal my friend.

As someone who is a highly skilled immigrant, I have been looking for a job for 3 months, my friends (all of them) have been looking for jobs for the last 6 months. Germany needs to fix this issue first before asking for more immigrants. More people won't fix anything if finding a job is so difficult.

Okay as a broke ass student in a similar situation imma try to help you out before someone offers better advice.

So you have these options: Definitely legal:

  1. self host local llama on colab.

  2. try hunggingface spaces, you can find a lot of models

  3. coehere.ai, a21, crebrium.ai (free trials/freemium)

  4. try poe.com (really awesome gpt3.5)

  5. perplexity.ai (good for researching articles)

  6. you.com (it has internet access like bing but generally more descriptive and useful than bing)

  7. bing ai (trys too hard to not hallucinate)

  8. claude2 on claude.ai (only available in us and uk so you might need vpn for account creation)

Kinda legal (i think)

  1. gptforfree on github (its reversed engineered from other places)

  2. chimeragpt discord (gives you free openai api key, includes gpt4 and image generation etc)

  3. pocketgpt (based on chimeragpt, this is the closest to what you want. Gpt4 directly in your browser but sometimes it does not work so you might want to try again later)

My piece of advice, use multiple tools since they all kinda have have different advantages. I mostly used gpt4 for smaller things and claude for larger (it has 100k context!)

I have to look up url for pocketgpt, its kinda a small project so couldn't find it on google. Meanwhile try this if it works https://chat.ylokh.xyz/

Link for pocketgpt: naturegpt.000webhost.com/pocketgpt
