Firstly, i am happy and appreciate that you feel for the families of the victim.

No? Just because some people believe it doesn't make it true.

Im not saying it is makes it true. But because of my belief (and the belief of the people who died and go for hajj), it is truth for me.

In the end I am responsible for my actions, and my time here on earth.

The butterfly effect is well proven and very easy to see with simply a double pendulum.

Butterfly effect and double pendulum are both examples of chaotic systems. We cannot predict their motion because the tiniest changes lead to huge changes later on.

What I am saying is that, we humans can not predict what will happen because of the butterfly effect but since Allah is not bound by the laws of the universe (ie. He is infinite). Therefore the judgment that an action he took is wrong or right is not something we can know.

Or to never exercise it at all clearly. Maybe it's because he doesn't exist?

That's just your opinion and i obviously disagree.

Very convenient way of explaining away the fact that good things and bad things happen randomly and/or as a direct result of human actions, not as a result of "Allah" choosing how to "exercise love".

Again the difference between your statement and my statement is that my statements come from my belief in Allah and yours from your disbelief in Allah.

How do you know that? There is zero real proof and any "proof" in Islam has been well and truly debunked. You can't just take an old book at it's word you know.

My belief in Allah and thereafter is based on my personal experiences. And unless you experience it as well I doubt that you will become a believer because of my experiences. I do pray that you experience it as well but that's about all that I can do.

What is "this ability" you're talking about?

The ability to know both future and past. He is all knowing. In islamic theology, Allah exist outside of the universe and not bound by its rules. Everything else has to follow some rules/laws, he is the creator and everything else is created.

And Allah doesn't exist, sorry to break it to you.

Again, we disagree because of our belief systems.

Sure from your world view, because you are not omniscient. If Allah chooses to do something it is his decision, we cannot ask for an explanation, at least not in this world because that would make the "test" too easy. And that's just if we even could understand it, which we most likely can't.

You can't relocate the Kaaba, it is just stone. And muslim do not worship the stone. It is just a marker to point the compass to.

Allah does what he wants, and he is not bound by the opinions of humans.

Chatgpt and gpt4 are two different things. Gpt4 is like the engine and chatgpt is like a car. In early version they were pretty much the same thing, but nowadays they have implemented so much in chatgpt.

On top of that chatgpt4 is constantly trained for these scenarios, it is no longer a base model.

All the latest models are trained on synthetic data generated on got4. Even the newer versions of gpt4. Openai realized it too late and had to edit their license after Claude was launched. Human generated data could only get us so far, recent phi 3 models which managed to perform very very well for their respective size (3b parameters) can only achieve this feat because of synthetic data generated by AI.

I didn't read the paper you mentioned, but recent LLM have progressed a lot in not just benchmarks but also when evaluated by real humans.

Except when it comes to defending their own country from their technologically inferior neighbor.

Maybe it has to do with people stealing content to train AI? Atleast now if there is an opportunity to be a part of a lawsuit or smth they can claim they provided a licence. I dunno just a guess

Right now i just want a livable job, like i got 1k eur as a student for working 20h/week so right now anything above or equal should do. My only requirement is that it is related to software cuz thats my field.

Man it is so crazy, i have masters from a uni which is 5th for computer science in germany. My gpa is 1.7 and i have 1.5 years of full time software dev experience and 3 years of part time (20h/week) software/ML engineering experience. And i have sent 70-80 applications and yet no interview. Like people if my creds are not enough to get me even 1 interview where i can show that i have skills that i claim to have then what will??

I meant changing the outcome because you saw something in the dream.

I don't think the future is fully determined. Just some parts have to be because of our actions. I have some theories:

Theory 1: maybe the universe is like a machine, and while it gives the impression that everything is possible, reality is that some outcomes are just not possible due to some limitation. Kinda like a game, you can have infinitely many possibilities of actions in an open world game but still there will be some options not possible because you choose some action at the start.

Theory 2: maybe there really is someone who controls what happens in this universe. Like our dream is the announcement that something will happen but the enforcement happens later. And the exact nature of the enforcement depends on our and everybody else's actions. In other words it is not decided what will happen but whatever happen will not go against the dream. We just dont know what other things could have happened given a dream.

Of Course nobody knows the true nature, and we can only guess and ponder about it.

I kinda got lost in making that list (just aspergers things) and listed every model i knew.

For a layperson, yeah self hosting isn't as effective yet. But if someone who studies AI (like me), self hosting is a must. Some use cases are:

Retrain on your own data (big market potential)

Make your own bots with specific applications/use cases (like parse wikipedia before answering)

Bypass censorship (funny story, my friend asked claude to summarize a book on dystopia and it kept telling her to talk about something else cuz dystopia's were too depressing for claude)

I've even heard about models that are specialized for just one task like chatting, or logic puzzles

And lastly, privacy nerds like me
