This user keeps posting super low quality content from the same poster on vocal.media, a site that pays writers for clicks.

I have been using Gadgetbridge for several years. The developers are very active, with the nightly branch being released daily. I've collaborated with some of them to debug issues and add support for new devices.

I've used it with multiple watches and a scale. While it doesn't provide insights or interpretations of your data like proprietary apps do, it offers complete control over your data. I've been planning to set up a SQLite to InfluxDB/Grafana translation layer to obtain more detailed statistics.

The appointment of Elon Musk to lead the proposed department of government efficiency raises concerns, given his track record of business management.

His handling of Twitter/X after its $44 billion acquisition has resulted in a significant decline in its value, with some sources putting the valuation around $9bn.

Doesn't seem very efficient to me.

One can only hope. Sponsor block helps a lot with that as well, FYI!

Honestly one of my favorite uses for AI at this point. Summarizing videos and extracting key points to scan as opposed to watching long videos.

I used to use Keepass and sync thing and would consistently run into conflicts between my desktop and mobile entries. Maybe there's a better way to do it that I'm missing, but that was very annoying

There should really be push notifications around installed apps with known vulns... Its tracked here: https://forum.f-droid.org/t/vulnerability-warnings-in-f-droid-app/20505

Could someone with a gitlab account open a feature request on the f droid repo?

I tried to open an account but it required email + cell phone (it picked up my VoIP number) and a credit card....

EDIT: I generated an RSS feed based off of Mozilla's known vuln list. If anyone knows of a better way to do this, please let me know!

i downloaded it after the news the other day. Presently uploading >200gb of pictures.

Android App has a few quirks, not very snappy, but it looks pretty polished.

The on device ML seems to be pretty accurate once you start tagging people.

We'll see how it handles me throwing the 200gb at it because it was already stuttering a bit when scrolling through ~15gb of pics.

I havent had the chance to spin up an immich instance yet to compare the two.

All in all, we might need to wait for a longer term user to chime in, but as of now to me it seems good enough.

Edit: 2 weeks later. I installed immich on a proxmox node with a rtx 2060 super passed through. it flies compared to ente, which is to be expected as immich isnt e2ee. I will most likely maintain both libraries for now, but Immich is definitely a more complete product.

Basically looking for an open source alternative to google my maps, to plan out trips or share recommendations with friends.

I've tried using uMap (OSM) for mexico city, but it has a lot of missing or outdated data.

Hi, all!

Aurora has mainly been rendered useless to me, since they started banning/ratelimiting a lot of the accounts in use on that platform.

I mainly stick to FOSS apps, but for instances where that isnt feasible, it was nice to be able to fall back on aurora store.

Any suggestions?

Wild that it's legal for a full on company to publically request free work.

Shit, a majority of interns are paid.
