You could try using nice to give the rust compiler less priority (higher number) for scheduling.
Unless it got overfitted and you changed your hair/glasses/... so much that their overfitted model takes more time to recognize it.

you can use flatpak remove --unused --delete-data to remove all unused dependencies and delete their data.
