And the dev might have to pay a lawyer to defend himself in court while the company tries to prove their point.

Sure, he might get it back. Maybe. But he also would likely end up in debt defending himself, even if there's no real merit to the case.

Sorry, I can't hear you over how much they have businesses over the barrel with their absurd subscription licensing costs

How has MS become more friendly to FOSS? (Genuine question)

No, you're more likely to be the first target and have someone attempt to disarm you. No one should know you have a concealed weapon unless they're trying to kill you. Open carry is idiotic. Showing a gun if you're not in fear for your life to the point where you'd shoot is brandishing, and it's a felony.

I carry daily. The only person in real life who even knows I own a gun is my father.

My most trouble free environments are the azure ones. Servers spin up or down based on user count. It's not cheap though.

Azure backups are the shit. Need to roll back to yesterday to pull a copy of a file? Log onto azure, go to backup section. Then you download an executable and get a key. Run it on your file server, and it mounts a copy of the disk as it was at backup time. So nice and easy.

I don't want this.. good way for something like the libwebp bug to be exploited with no user interaction

There's only actually a couple flavors I've found over the years that I've been able to tolerate honestly. A lot of them just taste straight chemical.

I assume you mean inhaler? I was under the impression those were just as needed.. I had asthma as a kid but I grew out of it luckily.

But how is a ban really going to help? When has prohibition of mentally altering substances actually worked?
