Well an Olympic athlete is probably a public figure in this context, so she'd need to show that Boebert defamed her "with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not."

Pretty good, I'd wager.

Despite him having been the star of a different 2000s reality show, Trump truly is The Biggest Loser.

I say the death penalty is itself inhumane, focusing on the technical problem misses the point. Killing people you have a high degree of confidence committed murder means on a long enough time span, you're virtually guaranteed to kill innocents. The process required to minimize these false positive killings makes the death penalty more expensive than life in prison, on average. As far as I can tell, there's no upside to the death penalty, unless you're firmly convinced that the criminal justice system needs to focus on retribution.

The only humane option I see is to let them live out their lives in a context where they won't reoffend.

I just followed their instructions to delete my account, citing their CEO's unprofessional use of their mailing list, and my resulting discomfort with them having my mailing address. You may want to consider doing the same.

Why are the women doing it? Power imbalance is probably a big factor.

Revelations was written down a few decades after Nero's famously-poor rule of the Roman Empire, and there had been plenty of poor leaders in living memory. There have been plenty of boastful liars who gained power in history, and so many of them have had similar comparisons drawn.

And the antichrist characteristics they describe are a selection of the ones he fits, without including those he doesn't. He hasn't (pretended to) come back from the dead, and isn't connected obviously to the number 666, for example.

That he fits into some of the classic descriptions of dangerously bad leaders doesn't seem eerie to me, but unsurprising. He's a classic con man.

When he stops deadnaming his daughter, maybe I'll start to care about his attempted rebrand of Twitter

I hate that you're probably right

"Melting down confederate statues and turning their remains into statues of the cast of hit Adult Swim animated series Aqua Teen Hunger Force" sounds like a great political platform. I'd vote for them.

It's also an exit condition. When it no longer serves as a channel to reach enough people, they leave, and more leave as a result.. the interesting question is there that threshold lies

I feel like a lot of it is really trivial stuff. Like if he shilled for homeopathic flu "medicine", then told people to wash their hands regularly during flu season, that's a 50% hit rate
