I use rsync for a similar system. One of the nice things is that you can set a bandwidth limit so that it doesn't saturate your family's internet connections.

I didn't see them advocate for not voting. I also never saw them blame the Democrats for this.
I did see them accurately point out that the party that is supposed to be the opposition to this stuff is doing nothing, and I don't see why the Democrats shouldn't be called out for that.
No, it's the Republicans who are to blame. The Democratic leadership is to blame for not putting up a candidate or policies that the voters wanted.
It's always amazing to me that people will blame the people who couldn't stomach to vote for the Democrats, rather than getting mad at the Democratic leadership for being so awful that people can't stomach to vote for them.
