Yeah I just deployed an unraid server for someone so this isn't fantastic news...but alternatives exist if/when shit happens.
I'm not so sure that's what this is...at least at this time. The lower tiers according to the article are still a perpetual license but the support/updates will be an optional extra after 1 year. Current customers won't be effected and they have a tier that completely avoids this.
I'm not thrilled by it, but in comparison Fusion360 went from 70 a month to 85 a month without any real reason and this doesn't seem like the same can of bullshit.

2001 Yamaha XT225 project for person celebrating in picture.
This was basically my birthday present to myself. Drag my friend on his newly running ninja250 and my fiance to a campsite in cold weather. It was awesome and I can't wait to try moto camping again.
I decided I wanted to try daily driving mint on my main machine and ever since install I've not been able to get the login screen to display properly on any one of my monitors. It'll always show roughly 45% of the screen on my smallest 1080p monitor. Tinkering with the "login window" settings got it working enough that I can kinda see the password field but no further. I haven't seen anything like this on the forums so I was hoping someone could help me out here.
