Oh so we are all already in hell. Got it.

If it was her decision that her full face should be on display, the backlash should be evidence enough that someone else gets paid to make those decisions, not her.

The original looks boring. She has absolutely no emotions on her face. There's no mystique, no 'wickedness'. Even the composition looks like something a high schooler in Photoshop class would make.

The edit isn't perfect either. But at least it pays homage to the original in more than just image. It adds that mystique back, and makes her look more menacing.

What it truly boils down to is ego. Although the edit is better, and so many people agree on it, it doesn't show her full face. And she can't let that go.

Honestly from the limited knowledge I have, Mongolians seemed to be the one of the chillest of invaders. They gave you a clear choice, let us rule you or die. And once they ruled you they allowed many freedoms that crusaders and colonizers didn't. Their tactics were brutal and I think that's why people see them as so evil.

The meme format doesn't really work, but the joke they're trying to make is that even though they did all these terrible things, it was never because of religion. In fact, they just didn't give a fuck in what you believed in. Genghis even allowed religious figures to be exempt from taxation.

Because it's more nuance than that?

It's not to be taken at face value. This song is about a man who struggles with addiction. He's stuck in a relationship with a nasty person all for the sake of his daughter. He's rapping with raw emotions.

You not supposed to listen to it and be like "ah fuck yeah. Murder is cool". You're supposed to listen to it and feel the same emotions he feels, which is vehement rage and desperation.

People may think he's crazy, but part of psychedelics is hypersensitivity. I doubt he could actually see in the dark and smell landmines, but his brain probably recognized very small details and fabricated hallucinations based on what little he did pick up on.

This is the craziest rhetoric I've ever heard. People love hearing interests from a fanatics perspective. If you have an almost unhealthy interest in something, test the waters. See how much the recipient is interested in hearing you talk about this, and if they are, go all out. I've learned so many interesting and niche things I never would have by engaging with people with hyper fixated interests.

The smell of weed has always been abhorrent to me. A true blooded alcoholic reeks like shit too, but most casual drinkers, or even alcoholics that care enough to still have good hygiene, don't smell nearly as bad to me.

But to each their own and whatnot.

I think the biggest thing that draws me to this community is surrealism. If it's not surreal and it's just a meme, it probably shouldn't be allowed.

Of course I enjoy the occasional meme, but Ive seen a few in here that feel like they just missed the mark of being surreal.

But that's just my two cents. I still love this community regardless.

This is a great point. However, let me offer this counterpoint. Racism

Some drugs are fine, others not so much. And some people can form bad habits and dependencies on good drugs. Its a tricky situation all around. But yes, thats the best approach imho
