Its a shame I don't have enough for solar yet. If you get it now its like getting a free battery if they are all getting a 40% hike. Probably gonna get rid of the tax incentive too cause the rich need it more too right?!

I just swapped to mull today. Fennec is only on fdroid or build it yourself. Fdroid updates take a week for official repo. Mull can get faster updates through DivestOS repo. Firefox just had a huge 0day and fennec is currently vulnerable.

Good news sorta

Under Texas law, he is eligible for a lump sum payment of up to $80,000 for each year he was incarcerated and an annuity, Wattley said.

I figured Texas would tell him to gtfo

Meanwhile, Petrak recently became president of the board of directors of the National Children's Alliance. The organization oversees funding and accrediting for child advocacy centers, where allegedly abused children are interviewed and assessed across the country.

Why would they do that????

It is they didn't use automotive grade parts causing their screens to yellow

Toddlers can't open doors. How do you expect them to find an emergency latch? Battery dies after your child is in the car and you are walking to them to get them out or away to start driving and the battery dies your kinda fucked.

Even with good public transit I'd have to sell my house and move to get a job and travel with public transit. I feel like that's a bit excessive if I had to get another one and move more. My commutes 250 miles a week and I was using a tank of gas a week. Went electric and I use 20-30kW to charge per day. 16k miles in on my first year. Hopefully one day I'll get solar installed and reduce even more too.

My boss told me today she had to wait 12 hours in the ER in the US the other day.

There are 2 display servers for Linux. X11, which is really old and doesn't support newer things such as HDR and the "new" kid on the hlock, Wayland. KDE, Gnome and such that make the UI you interact with on Linux utilize X11 or Wayland to render everything on the screens.

The library used to read the line does the string length check, so my guess, whoever wrote it initially didn't know about it and tested with a small sunset of items without issue; I assume the games items grew in size over the years too. They also released an official patch with it and paid the modder $10k

Pretty sure someone pulled the code, it's all JavaScript in the browser and archived the firmware so it is possible to do it without relying on that page when they shut it down.

I mean the opposite has happened. Democrat elected in turned Republican. Unfortunately we elect the person so if they fail their voters like that you have to wait till they screw up or reelection. This might vary by state though, but I think this is also the common logic for it?
